Great place to stay
Great place to stay in Wellington, close to Courtney Place, good views, pleasant staff, clean rooms with good amenities. Loved the mulled wine in the bar - pleasant way to start the evening. We had a room by the lift so it was a little noisy in the morning, but apart from that - an excellent stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Dining without staying at the Hotel itself
¿¿¿ Didn't stay in hotel but went in as a casual dining couple.The restaurant is very well presented especially in the evening looking out over the Marina and yachts.New Zealander came over and welcomed us asking were we house guests but such didn't seem to make any difference as we were asked did we have a preference for seating. We chose a window table and it was quickly stripped down for two. Menus were presented and a different waitress appeared enquiring about drinks.We ordered two cocktails one being a Bloody Mary the other a Manhattan on the Rocks. Drinks arrive quite promptly, Manhattan on a "Rock" rather than rocks and the Bloody Mary without any dressing i.e. celery stick/garnish or stirrer. However, it was nice and spicy although I had to use my diner fork to stir it.The New Zealander waitress returned and I asked was the Ostrich New Zealand farmed or imported from Australia. I was politely told that New Zealand didn't have Ostrich farms so it was probably Australian. Knowing this was incorrect I asked her to check with the kitchen and she disappeared. We waited a little while and another waitress arrived at the table and I asked the same question, no lecture this time and hurried off to the kitchen and returned to advised that indeed NZ farmed and sourced from Levin.Mains were ordered including the ostrich. Small entree of scallops which were quite nice (no dispute that they were from Marlborough) the service was good, mt drinks glasses removed, previously ordered wine arrived and the meal was excellent.The whole dinner, relaxed atmosphere, quiet and suitable back ground music all added up to a most enjoyable evening. I would recommend the restaurant, for a hotel dining room it was a really nice surprise. Shame about the staff member not knowing about our NZ Ostrich, giving me a lecture and then not returning after obviously discovering from the kitchen she was wrong.....

Great Meal
Had a brilliantly meal at One80 Restaurant last night. It was a meal for Mothers Day, 8 courses with wine. Every course was well presented and very tasty. Staff were all fabulous with great service. Have also stayed at this hotel a few times and always had great food, breakfast has a great selection, everything has always been hot and fresh. The morning staff are always friendly. Reception staff also friendly. Rooms have always been clean and tidy. Will always stay here when in Wellington.

Wellington Stopover Accommodation
We really enjoyed our one night stay Friday 03/05, and were certainlyblessed with the rooms we were given on the 8th floor which we found to be clean & well presented.There is a good variety of Sky TV Channels available which was a bonuscompared to some other Hotels we have stayed at.The Hotel is in a great location with helpful staff, it was right up to our expectations. For instance the sitting area adjacent to the Bar is spacious, comfortable& user friendly for a casual blob out.The Buffet Breakfast had a good variety well presented that was kept topped upWe really did enjoy the experience of staying at this Hotel & no doubt will return some day.

We stayed for 2 nights and found everything great. Walking distance to city and attractionsRooms were excellent, very clean, tidy & comfortable. Staff in Bar dining room were excellent.Very efficient booking in and out. Staff all friendly.
