Great Accommodation
Stayed here for two nights with family. Shared a two bedroom apartment, had everything we needed. Two bathrooms was a bonus. Located very close to Parliament and Botanical Gardens. Only downside was roadside parking - or lack of it, especially during weekdays. Valet parking was available for $30 per day or Wilsons public carpark was directly next door. Aside from that, would definitely stay here again. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a great time - thanks!

Location Location
Once I decided to visit Wellington for the Anzac Day Commemoration Service and to take in the AFL match between the Saints and the Swans, I could not have picked a better location, the Dawn Service was conducted within a 2 minute walk, and the game was a ten minute walk away.This hotel provided excellent accomodation and service, boutique in style with excellent 'in room' facilities very much like a serviced apartment, look for specials and book here on your next visit to Wellington.

One of the Best!
This small hotel provides a five star atmosphere in a discrete and tasteful way- don't expect a huge marble foyer with fountains and teams of flunkies as one will experience in a five-star establishment in Asia. The reception staff were pleasant and efficient, the room was lovely - stacks of space, a lovely view and spotlessly clean. And, joy of joy, good room lighting and quiet air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent - provided as part of the "Autumn Affair" package which was great value. We were only there overnight (next time it will be longer) so did not take advantage of the free wi-fi but at last it was great to see a top city hotel providing this.The hotel is not located in the heart of the city but it is only five minutes from Lambton Quay, arguably one of the best shopping streets in New Zealand and close to Parliament buildings and many government departments for those on business.

Great Location
We loved our visit to Wellington and our room at the Bolton. The room was very well done, spacious, and very clean. We had wonderful connections with the front desk staff helping us with restaurants and things to do, but for me even more so, they helped me find a great hairdresser. My husband and I had been on the road for nearly a month and I needed this badly. I was so pleased to receive their help and get a most appreciated hair cut and color at Ba Daro with Constantine, just a ten minute walk away to Lambton Quay. The location was perfect for walkers like us who wanted to explore on foot even though we had a rental car. Speaking of which they have a great garage set up so that you can come and go at ease when you want your car to explore. We had four super days and nights here and would return easily.
