Comfortable room, nice bathroom, very good variety in the buffet breakfast, polite and efficient service; everything I would expect of hotel in this chain. No complaints.Room with view of city is nothing to rave about. I guess a view of the harbour would have made the experience unique.Good location -- walking distance to both Wynyard and Circular Quay stations.

A great place to stay! Bring your camera and appetite!
I booked direct at the last minute and got a great deal! A lovely newly refurbished room and a comfy king bed with duck down pillows.City views, the automatic roller blinds were great to block out the afternoon sun. Parking was included, a relief! The inside heated rooftop pool was a gem! We swam before breakfast, the views from the pool level 31 -omg!! Harbour , the bridge and opera house. Bring your camera for a swim!,,The breakfast at "opera" on level 1 amazing! Bring your appetite to breakfast! Fabulous array of fresh delights-hot, cold, bakery, roast ham, waffles, smoked salmon, just great.

Fabulous location & wonderful staff
We enjoyed another stay here during our recent business trip to Sydney. The location, service and views are fabulous. The staff's attention to detail amazing. We continue to be given the same room location each visit and this makes it seem like home.

Views of the harbour = Spectacular!
I discovered a vast improvement on my last stay at the Intercontinental Sydney in regards to the rooms, perhaps it was because I decided to go for a Club Intercontinental Room. This last stay has definitely affirmed my faith in the Intercontinental Sydney.The team at the Club really made us feel welcome and clearly did everything they could to make our evening a special one.As usual Tom and rest of the team at Caf¿¿ Opera looked after us for lunch which always has the most amazing selection of food available for lunch and dinner, and the service is always fantastic!The location of this property for travellers visiting Sydney is great, the hotel is walking distance to everywhere you would want to go within the city and Circular Quay (a main public transport hub) is right at your doorstep.

Fantastic club lounge and service
I had an excellent stay at this hotel. I had arrived very early due to flight times (around 8am I think). Even though I was ridiculously early, I was still provided with my room immediately. Check-in was fast, efficient and friendly. I was duly informed of my ambassador upgrade (standard club room to club room with eastern harbour view) and asked if I wanted to avail of my 4pm extended check-out option. A complimentary full-sized bottle of wine and a selection of fruit was delivered to my room. The club lounge is absolutely breath-taking. It must be one of the best in the world. It's floor to celling glass overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Opera House. I had breakfast in the club lounge every day and found the service to be absolutely excellent. There were plenty of staff to ensure the service was attentive. The breakfast was very high quality and freshly cooked. The various options throughout the day are equally good (afternoon tea and cocktails/canap¿¿s in the evening). To be honest, the club lounge staff made my stay (Edward was extremely attentive, keeping me well topped up with flat whites in the morning!). I'm looking forward to returning to this hotel later on this evening having had a brief stop over in the Intercontinental Wellington. Thank you club lounge staff!
