Great hotel, don't expect any great views from your room
Can't say anything bad about this place, it well presented, service is faultless, room are generously sized and well presented. Bathrooms probably a little small and not 5 star, but spotless and functional enough. Breakfast is fantastic, you can ask for coffee and eggs cooked to your liking, just ask! Good choice, only setback is that there are no nice views.

Classic - and that's good
This traditionally styled hotel makes a virtue out of its classic approach to the hotel experience - quiet elegance and comfort. The staff are exceptional, and the overall high standard of service extended to every individual I came in contact with. Not easy in these days of high staff turnover; but a lovely thing to experience. Only the breakfast disappointed - but great coffee!

The most amazing breakfast,
Haven't been to Adelaide for many years until June, 2013. City hotel breakfasts are generally boring, much of a muchness, and the reason why surrounding cafe's do well. The Sebel Playford is the exception to the rule! In all the years I worked in hotels, and in the many trips I have undertaken within Australia and Internationally, never have I experienced such a creative and delicious breakfast - still a buffet set up but this hotel makes the food the hero and showcases the beautiful local produce available to them. An array of fresh fruits, cereals - no boxes are seen in this setup, beautiful juices - kiwi fruit and apple was my favourite! If you decide to take on the hot foods, a chef is in front of you cooking small quantities of food as required, the most beautiful poached eggs - these we're definitely free range and such a selection of beautiful sides. This is a breakfast for champions and its no wonder the locals come in on a weekend - the first buffet breakfast I have ever seen that is truly worth the money. Other hotels could case study this property and they might start retaining their guests in the morning.

Love to stay at the Sebel Playford
I always love to stay at the Sebel Playford when in Adelaide. The rooms are elegant and so comfortable. I always have a great nights sleep. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fabulous.Jen Victoria

What a Gem!
Not often does a hotel stand out a Ross so many fascets of their business but this wonderful hotel was a stand out for me. From reception to concierge to wait staff and cleaners, the service was amongst the best I have experienced. As I sit here enjoying the country's most delicious and well thought out buffet breakfast (an opinion shared by my colleagues on this trip!) I am a little sad to be leaving. I definitely feel like I'm saying good bye to an old friend. Sebel Playford, you will be my accom of choice next trip. Well done and keep up the great work!
