Central and very reasonable
I have stayed here twice now while in Adelaide on business.Close to everything in Glenelg, a quick stroll along the beach front, the jetty and all the restaurants. secure parking, morning windscreen wash very comfortable and clean, free wifi and all the TV channels for free.I thoroughly recommend this Motel.

Location, location, location
We chose this motel for it's location and were not disappointed. So close to the beach, but also the shops and restaurants. The room itself seemed quite compact, but was clean and comfortable. We were not bothered by any noise from the traffic or the busy neighbourhood, but were aware of our fellow motel guests entrances and exits. We appreciated the free internet, and found the front desk staff very helpful.

They Even Washed My Car Windscreen
Hi Guys,Stayed here for 4 nights last month on business on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews.Very welcoming staff and my room was very comfortable. My view was on the western side and my balcony faced the park opposite. Breakfast was served to your room and the bed was very comfortable. Free parking was allocated and the staff washed my car windscreen every night to make my start to the day a safe one....nice little touch.Would I stay here again, of course I would and as my previous reviews state, I rarely stay at the same place twice on my business travels.

The 'Ensenada' - just okay.
I had a bit of an odd experience at this hotel - when I checked in, the reception person escorted me to my room (thru halls, stairs, & more halls) & ran thru 'everything', which included the security code for the carpark gate. The gate was open when I checked in (afternoon)- I asked what time it closes (thereby needing the code) & the woman's answer was, "I could close that at any time" (was that a 'threat'?!). Going & getting my luggage from the car, I went to the most obvious hotel entry, which went to the lobby, however, after lugging suitcases up stairs 2 levels, discovered later a stairway very near my room! Settled in for the evening & went to log onto their internet. Need the user-name & p/word, so rang reception, only to be told that they won't give it over the phone, but I needed to personally come to reception to obtain it (!). With the personal escort to my room &'orientation', I therefore thot there were a few important ommissions...Other than that, the hotel is in a brilliant location - right in Glenelg, by the beach & less than 100m walk to Jetty Rd shops. Also a grocery store nearby. Downside is there's no lift/elevator, so if you have heavy luggage-argh. I had noisy neighbors, but that wasn't hotel's fault. Loading up my car to leave, there's a note on my now-cleaner windscreen - this hotel cleans them "to assist you in driving safely"- nice touch :) a bit better customer service would have made this hotel a better experience.

Central location close to shops restaurants beach
We booked this hotel from the UK after looking on their website booked one of their hoiday suites down stairs so we could come and go as we wished.We were visting family over Christmas and wanted somewhere if need be the family could come over and stay.The suite was perfect with a car park at the back were you can leave your car which has a gate at night so very secure.You can access the suite straight from there,also a secure front entrance straight on to Colley Terrace 3 mins walk to the shops restaurants beach etc.ideal.We picked the two bed suite double room and two single beds in the other, large bathroom with shower,small lounge with TV table and chairs and kitchenThe suite was spotless cleaned every day fresh towels changed sheets twice in one week, they also have a laundry room the washing machines and dryers perfect.Considering the lounge was at the front on a busy road once you were inside and closed the windows it was quite.All the reception staff were very nice and helpful, noticed some reviews about the walls being thin although we had neighbours we didn't fine it a problem.If you want a great location that's close to everything easy access into Adelaide by tram which is across the road this hotel if perfect.We would certainly stay at the Ensenada Motor Inn again.
