Great Room, Awesome Staff
Enjoyed the free breakfast. My room was very clean and comfortable. My bed slept better than a5 star hotel. No pool but the outdoor Jacuzzi was perfect for me. Seems everything I needed was within walking distance. The staff was genuinely warm and friendly. Made me feel at home. I truly enjoyed my stay. Wow! Thanks!

Very satisfying experience.
We chose this area to be close to family living in Woodland hills and other nearby suburbs. Since we were staying for a week, we also chose a suite and that worked out really well. It was big, clean, comfortable and quiet, and all the features looked as if they were updated in the last couple of years. The immediate area, while not fancy, is near many restaurants and a large mall. It is quite a drive, because of traffic, to Hollywood (or anywhere else that might be on a tourist's list), but we managed to see quite a bit anyway. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we liked the security of the elevator key. The breakfast area, while we were there, always had tables available, even on the weekend, and the only thing lacking on the menu (for me) was fruit. We discovered, though, that there was a grocery store two doors down, and were able to keep extra food in the refrigerator. We also discovered that the pool was more of a spa, so if you're taking kids, don't promise them a great pool experience. Overall, a very satisfying week.

Perfect location & pleasant personnel
Driving into this location we were concerned about parking - didn't seem to be enough spaces for all the rooms. We did find a space, and felt secure underneath the hotel. The room was large enough for the two of us, and everything was in working order. It was a typical Holiday Inn Express, which meant it was everything we wanted and needed for one night. The only distressing part of the visit was the breakfast area: 5 tables for 4, and 4 tables for 2. When we went down for breakfast, we had no place to sit, and we were offended by the sign which indicated we should NOT bring the food to our room. It was only 8AM, and most of the food was gone. When we talked to the manager, she apologized for no hot food or breads or pancakes - she noted that they had a big influx of people at once. They young woman servicing the area, Melissa, brought out more food as quickly as was humanly possible - all the while she was pleasant, not flustered, and highly efficient. Oh! Don't turn in your key until you are ready to leave. You need your key in the small elevator to access any floor higher than the reception & breakfast floor. Thankfully we did not need it to go to the basement area for our car.

Excellent and updated; clean, comfortable rooms and comfy beds
We enjoyed our stay a this hotel. Convenient to our family and local sites. Helpful and very friendly staff welcomed us and had us ready to check into our room even though we arrived early. Safe access to rooms with room-key access in elevators made us feel more comfortable that not anyone who walked off the street had access to the floors.We parked safely and did not have any concerns even though other reviewers experienced differently. La Frite (reasonable and yummy French restaurant) right across the street and Leo & Lily Eatery, Market and Cafe within walking distance for delectable treats and yummy breakfast! Do try both!

Clean & Comfortable, excellent location.
I stayed 6-nights in a dbl bed occupancy. The ck in was fast but there was a slight misunderstanding with the payment on their side but the error was instantly fixed. The rm was mid sized with lrg window, desk with wide mirror & lamp, lrg flat screen TV on a lrg dresser with 4 big drawers & a mini fridge w/freezer. A night stand, very comfortable queen beds-Linen was very soft & felt very smooth with 4-pillows. Closet was a bit small but had 5 hangers & shelf, there was also a bench & full sized mirror. Bathrm was good sized for 2-persons, nice tile through out, wide counter with sink & extra wide mirror. Cln toilet & shower/tub, also had built in shelf for extra storage. Bathrm was stocked with plenty of towels & toiletries. Complimentary Bkfast from 6:30-9:30 eggs, susage, bacon, biscuits, bagels, bread, pastries, pancakes, cereal, coffee/juice etc. If planning to eat bkast arrive before 9am to assure fresh & hot.Staff was very nice & helpful, bldg 100% safe & secure, you need key to operate elevator, all entry doors are kept locked. I did not use the exercise rm but did peek in & it was very small with a handful of machines & TV. Pool was very long Narrow like a single lane not very big I wouldnt use it. Bldg was smoke free, very cln & modern. Our rm was clnd daily, beds made, trash taken out & bathrm clnd. Pkg was tight in the pm but if full you can get a pass to pk next door at Wendy's. We left our car a few times pkd at Wendy's ovr night & had NO problem. In the surrounding areas was Jack-in-box, hambuger joint, Smart & Final, Wendy's. about 1/2 mi. south is Ralphs, Rite Aide, Mall, Wells Fargo, Wholefoods, Cheese Cake Factory. Excellent location to entertainment & 40-min from Hollywood. Make sure you plan 1-hr travel time if you heading to the city, traffic is very very bad 24/7!!!
