Excellent service, friendly
Although the hotel is a bit hard for cab drivers to find (hence 4 stars instead of 5), the staff are terrific and the rooms.have definitely been designed with business travelers in mind. My room had two televisions, both with cable hook-ups for lap tops... and incredibly helpful tool when reviewing presentations, or even just looking at email or online entertainment. My room also had an unobstructed corner view right over the reflecting pools at the 9/11 memorial. Spectacular! Do go up to the 20th floor restaurant that has equally fantastic views. You might get lucky and have Juda wait on you - he is symbolic of the new New York. Authentic, cool and nice. The silver lining of the 9-11 events is that New York became a kinder place without losing it's swerve. A hard balancing act, but hey, it's New York, New York, the town so nice they named it twice! Hang out with Juda for a while, and you'll know what I'm talking about.Keep up the good work.

Clean, modern & convenient
I have stayed here 3 times before on business trips to the World Financial Center. There are many hotels in the surrounding area but this one is consistently the best value. The rooms are quite compact (this is NYC though!) but are very clean and comfortable. There is free wifi throughout the building and even free bottled water (a great touch). The restaurant on the 20th floor has awesome views over ground zero and the surround lower Manhattan area. The hotel is a no more than a 5 minute walk away from the WFC and other surrounding offices which is a real bonus. The staff are quite friendly but defiantly wouldn't go above and beyond for you!

Great stay!
Check in was a breeze...the staff is very friendly and helpful! The location is great if you have a child going to Pace University..it was less than a 10 minute walking distance. The room was super clean and quiet and it was so convenient to have a free water bottle dispenser right outside our door. The room was also spacious for the price; we had a king size bed, sofa, mini fridge, and microwave.

Cheap, cheerful, but not again
The room was right next to the WTC site and was very noisy, interrupting my sleep. The food was oily and tasteless.Location was good though, walk to everywhere and close to subway and taxi rank.Beware of turning the air conditioning on as the touch panel does not turn off during the night, making sleep almost impossible. They also didn't change the bedsheets often enough.

Good Value in Heart of Financial District
We stayed two nights in connection with Bike NY. Hotel was a five minute ride to start and maybe seven minutes from the ferry landing (from Staten Island where race ended).Attentive polite staff. No early food in hotel on Sunday morning but there's a good deli (Taz) andDunkin Donuts around the corner. If you need a clean, basic place to sleep etc for a quick trip this is a real winner.
