I stayed at the hotel while I was attending a conference there. The check in was quick and the staff very friendly and polite. I asked about running routes and they had a card with a map and mileage on it, which was very handy. The room was large, clean, and comfy. I'd not seen this before and thought it was genius- the handle to turn on the shower is against the back wall opposite the shower head. This allows you to turn on the shower without getting wet. Simple but a nice touch. If you are looking for a conference venue, I'd definitely make this an option. The conference rooms are on the second level and many of the rooms have natural light. I hate being in a conference all day in an underground room and never seeing the sun all day. Also, the food was tasty and the space was ample.

My friend and I had the pleasure of checking into the Hyatt At Olive 8 on April 26th for a fabulous 3 night girlfriend getaway! We picked this hotel for location and for the fact that it has a beautiful pool, hot tub and spa. We both enjoy relaxing in a hot tub after a day of sightseeing and shopping, so the Hyatt At Olive 8 was perfect. When we were searching for a hotel we noticed that most of the hotels in the area do not have pools or hot tubs, so it was the natural choice for us. We couldn't have been happier! From the moment we walked in, it was awesome. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful and let us check in early. They had lovely, organic, green Washington state apples to help yourself to, which was such a nice touch! Our room was spacious and updated and was "green" in as far as your key card stays in a little holder by the door which controls the lights. Awesome! We had a view of a little park like area and the city and we loved it! Beds were comfy and so were the pillows, which is usually an issue for me because I'm picky about them. The bathroom was large and had good lighting, provided nice products and of course..a nice robe! My friend likes that a lot, so it made her very happy! Did I say clean? Yes, it was immaculate and we were able to control the room temp to our liking. We used the pool area every afternoon and swam, hot tubbed, and use the steam room and sauna. So fun and relaxing. The pool area is very warm with huge windows and it almost felt tropical. We absolutely loved it! Urbane is the restaurant/bar in the hotel and we really enjoyed the food and delicious cocktails we had. I think they pride themselves on using local, organic ingredients and it shows. A special shout out and thanks to our bartender, Johnny who was awesome! They also have a little cafe with a computer and breakfast items. Another shout out to Greg who worked there who was also a sweetheart! One more shout out and thanks to Alex, the wonderful concierge, who really helped us decide what plans to make and was always cheerful and nice. So, if this doesn't convince you to run, run, run to this awesome hotel, I don't know what will. I can't wait to return and bring my husband and my friend and I have not stopped talking about our amazing stay! Oh, one more thing..easy ride on light rail from airport to this hotel. Just take the train to the last stop by Nordstrom. It's an easy couple of blocks walk to the hotel. For great dinner also, try the Pink Door. Great food and we saw a fun burlesque show!

arrived early at the hotel and was given a room around 11am without even asking for an early ck in. Friendly front desk staff and concierge, excellent wi-fi connection, clean rooms and comfy bed. will recommend to friends and fam

The Hyatt at Olive 8 is in a great and convenient location, has amazing friendly service, very nice hotel rooms, decent gym, it is easy to find, has convenient valet parking. I would definitely return to and recommend this hotel.

My husband and I went to Seattle to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We tried to get a reservation at a nearby hotel but they were booked and we chose this hotel instead. What a wonderful surprise! We arrived early for check-in from the airport and our room was not quite ready. We were offered a complimentary cocktail/drink and appetizer in the lounge while we waited. The staff was so attentive and wonderful from the folks at the front desk to the Bellman.The room was lovely, clean and well appointed with a fabulous veiw of the city. The beds were so cozy and the linens very nice. We will definately stay here again the next time we are in the area!
