The hotel staff was great
We stayed at the Italiana Hotels, Florence from April 16th through the 19th. The hotel had the best location - close to public transportation and baristas and more. Getting to all the attractions was a breeze.The hotel staff - especially Gina at the front desk - were most helpful. She was able to patiently handle all our questions and her responses made for an informed 4 days in this beautiful city. Thank you!The breakfast had many choices.

Good hotel
My friends booked it for us. It was cheap(may be because of the location). But we found it a satisfactory location. From the Firenze S.M. station, there are bus services(I think bus no 23, but better ask the drivers by showing them address) for reaching here(20 mins). From the bus stop, you can see the hotel. The hotel looks big. Clean big rooms with very good bathrooms. Bed was big and comfortable. Mini-bar in the rooms was also fine. The reception was okay. But you have to pay for internet(by hrs), which doesn't sound fine to me. In my opinion, they can add small charges to all the rooms of the hotel at the time of booking itself and provide free internet.

Lovely weekend
WOW. How friendly are these guys? Special thanks to Marilena and Guiseppe on reception. They couldn't do more for you. Great atmosphere in the hotel, lovely friendly staff, clean rooms with great bathrooms, full breakfast selection and a bus stop outside the hotel to take you the 20 mins to the centre. A brilliant time was had.Top tip: Take 23A bus from outside the McDonalds exit of Florence train station to the hotel and the 23 back to Florence. You can buy all you bus tickets form the hotel recpetions - brilliant.The pool wasn't finsihed but then the italians don't recognise summer by the temperature do they - summer starts at the end of June whatever the weather!I wholly recommend this hotel and its lovely staff, at all levels, to anyone from UK.

Cheap
Handy if you have a car, staff where OK, obviously someone has had a word with them looking at other reviews, we upgraded to a superior room but wished we hadn't bothered, round bed and a shower for 2, basically a knocking shop, breakfast was very good i must say. Pizza shop just outside was cheap and good quality.

Poor hotel, worse attitudes.
For starters this hotel is quite good for it's location but thats about where it stops.The staff on the reception desk are just plain rude.I went down to ask for a room service menu as there weren't any in my room only to be greeted by "They are in your room" from marlena the super friendly receptionist, after explaining that we did not have one she told me to go upstairs and call them from my room. I asked if she could just give me a menu after rolling her eyes and picking up the phone she called one of the restaurant staff to bring a menu to reception. Then once she photo copied it and handed it me she said "Here you are, they are in your room though." I'm not blind woman if it was in my ****ing room I wouldn't be here asking you for one.The breakfast is average just soggy eggs and pastries with flies buzzing around them.The gym is ok, no lights no music and missing several weights.The same reception staff member was also rude to my girlfriend when she asked if there was a bus to a winery we were hoping to see and was met with a "No." and then she walked out of reception only to have a younger man come out and find her a bus schedule in 2 minutes.If you've run out of options stay here, otherwise you can do better.
