Convenient, updated, value
I stayed at La Luna in April 2013 when I met up with 12 other people before our wine tasting trip. The hotel is on a main street and has large updated rooms. The free parking is a perk! The front desk was great when we needed cabs called and were happy to store our luggage while we toured the city after checking out.

Fantastic, great for you if you do not want to spend a lot of money and still have a great stay in San Francisco!
In the middle of most attractions and was clean and met most of our needs, there is a Walgreens less than a block away and we walked to most of our destinations, I booked this hotel because it was lower priced than most hotels and was pleasantly surprised with our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone lucky enough to stay in this wonderful city!!

Good motel with a great location
Great location central to many sites, restaurants and bars in city. Room was large with comfortable king-sized bed. Some road noise you have to deal with. Good WiFi signal. Continental breakfast. Friendly management. Ice machine/vending machine. Private parking lot. Repeat: Road noise on Lombard St may be an issue.

Owners went out of their way to accomadate me
The hotel itself was reasonably priced and located in walking distance to several attractions. The room had a refrigerator and Fiji water. The hotel owner was very helpful. I had to cut my trip early, and I was refunded money for nights I could not stay. Additionally, the owner agreed to work with Fed-Ex to mail my items to me. Kudos to the owner for being so supportive and understanding. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
