Enjoyed our trip to Montmartre
Had a pleasant time at the Holiday Inn Montmartre. The hotel is located in the Montmartre district, near Place du Clichy (Moulin Rouge), the Montmartre cemetery and in the neighborhood of the Sacr¿¿ Coeur. The hotel faces Rue Damremont which is a quiet in the evening, and is near a supermarket and other food stores (Brasserie, Fromagerie, Patisserie, etc.), and there are quite a few good restaurants nearby as well. There are two metro stations that lead to the hotel, "Place Du Clichy" and "Lamarck ¿¿¿ Caulaincourt", but none of them are very near. That means that it will take you some effort pulling your luggage on your first day from the metro station to the hotel.Service: Quality of service is the main positive of the hotel in my eyes. The front desk service I encountered throughout our stay was probably the best I've yet to experience in European hotels. On top of that, the employees had a good knowledge of the area, Metro and RER systems and other vital information and were proactive in warning us regarding maintanence works in lines we intended to travel in. So Kudos to Carlo, Romain, and the third young gentleman who didn't wear a name tag, the 4th star in this review is thanks to you.Room: The room we were in (307) was quite small as expected in Paris, facing Rue Damremont. It needs a little paint but was just fine for our needs. Room was cleaned daily and towels changed. TV with many french channels, CNN and BBC. There's free wi-fi which is always a plus.Misc: The hotel lobby is a business centre with free internet access and newspapers (French and USA Today), breakfast is also served there for 15EUR per person, which we didn't use since there are cheaper alternatives nearby for your morning's "Pain au chocolat" and coffee.To summarize, we enjoyed our vacation in this hotel, would definately recommend people going for a week in Paris who love the Montmartre unique style to stay there.

Last minute business trip to Paris
I stayed here on a last minute business trip to Paris. I enjoyed my stay and was very well treated by the staff and liked the location which is only a short walk from Montmartre and a number of nice resterants, including a nice little veggy cafe, Au Grain de Folie, where I had dinner.The room rate included wifi which was really useful. The hotel itself was adiquate and I had a good nights sleep, the room I stayed in could benifit from a lick of paint and a spruce up. Saying that I would stay again.

Very good stay
Can honestly say we had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are small but typical for hotel rooms in Paris. Clean and well kept. The staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful and nothing was too much to ask.

It all depends on the room your get. Be picky
When I checked in I was given a tiny room at the last floor, The bathroom is so small that they do not have a location to put the toilet paper close to the toilet... The bedroom has a slanted roof that feel claustrophobic. I requested a change, and was then given a nice room, normal ceiling height and a usable bathroom, it was back to normal HI style confort. Sound level is low, and room is confortable and very dark when required.The downstairs breakfast is OK, but variety is minimal.THe neighborhood is really nice, a bit away (but not too much) of the tourist hubs, but close to 3 subway stations and in a neighborhood where tourists are few. When exiting the hotel just turn left and walk you will find many friendly local restaurants.

Great location, cozy hotel
I've spent three nights there with my girl, we had a small but cozy room (with a big and clean bathroom) super silent as it was facing the courtyard in the back, equipped with everything, including a useful cattle with coffee and tea.The hotel is in a great romantic and safe area (Montmartre), 3 metro stations within a 5 minutes walk, friendly staff.The only tip is this, don't have a breakfast there (unless it's included in your fare), it's expensive, while you can have everything you want, from small bistrot to cool restaurants as you walk out on the street.I definitely recommend it.
