unbelievable
I have stayed in many hilton hotels in central london & all of them are very good in terms of service but this one is bit dissappointing one .Ps- please do something with your room service & reception department because they really do not know " what's the value of time " .. a part from that everything was okay .

Convenient Higher-End Hotel at LHR
The Hilton London Heathrow is a modern, well-appointed, airport hotel. Its proximity to Terminal 4 (it connects to the terminal by a long covered walkway) and access to the Heathrow Express (which provides free connections to the other terminals) makes this hotel the perfect place to spend the night before leaving LHR on an early morning flight. Although it¿¿¿s not new, the Hilton London Heathrow still looks stylish. The hotel has five floors of rooms which surround a large central atrium.Rooms are clean and comfortable but they are small and look a little tired. There is a room refurbishment program underway so you might request a refurbished one when making reservations. Soundproofing in the rooms is excellent but, strangely, TV channels are very limited.Service throughout the hotel, for the most part, is pleasant and efficient.There are two principle restaurants¿¿¿Aromi (for Italian-style dining) and Zen Oriental. For early risers, a Continental breakfast is served from 5 a.m. and a hot English breakfast from 6 p.m.If you book an executive room, know that it includes a complimentary buffet breakfast at Aromi (at least it did at the time of my last visit).I have stayed at the Hilton London Heathrow on previous occasions and haven¿¿¿t found much to criticize. From what I can tell, the hotel is well-managed and offers what you would expect from a higher-end airport hotel. I plan to continue to use it for those early morning flights out of LHR.

Because of it's convenience, I keep hoping ...
That this hotel will be updated. Despite the professional pics posted, it hasn't been. Or if it has been, you can't prove it by me.Pros:Good customer service.Handy terminal for BA check-in.Convenient for terminal 4, other terminals and, of course, access to LondonCons:People with dietary issues will have a bit of a hard time finding something they can eat at the breakfast buffet (the host, however, was very gracious - give the man a raise! - about trying to accommodate, but we went elsewhere when they couldn't offer much but gluten free bread).The bathrooms are dated,rooms are tiny, and there was some strange abrasion marks on the bottom of our tub (pro: the tubs ARE deep).

Day room a great idea when in transit between morning arrival and evening departure
My wife and I arrived at Heathrow from Canada early on a weekday morning in late April, en route to South Africa. As we had eight hours until it was time to check in for our evening flight, we took a day room at the Hilton Terminal 4, for ¿¿108 (CA$174.)It was easy to get to the hotel from Terminal 3. We took the train to Terminal 4 and walked through the connector passage. Without exerting ourselves, it took us half the time to make this walk, compared to what the signs indicated.The hotel staff and room were very nice. We had a king size bed and, because we overlooked the hotel atrium, were able to pick up a good Wi-Fi signal, even though this is something which supposed to be an extra charge. (Wi-Fi in the lobby area is free, in any event.)We also had a good, light lunch in the restaurant atrium.I went for a half hour jog along the airport perimeter road and back. I did not encounter many intersections or any serious traffic. It was not the most beautiful scenery, but it was a little interesting and with nice, fresh air, it was much better than a treadmill.

Standards are falling at this property
I used to love this hotel but it is really dropped its standardsI waited for over an hour for the hotel shuttle from terminal 5 - it turns out the regular shuttle was in for repair and they were using another vehicle that wasnt obviously tied to the hotel. I called the front deck who told me to look for a green and yellow bus. The color was very different (see my photo). After a long flight from the US I really didnt need this. The staff are young and inexperienced and many only speak English as a second language. The guy at the bar didnt even acknowledge me - I sat there for several minutes. I asked him if I could get a beer he said "d'uh - yes - it's a bar". The gym was over-populated and a little smelly. The TV played the grand prix with loud volume even though no one was watching it..super-annoyingI have another visit planned for tonight but after this I am going to switch to the Hilton Terminal 5.
