OK but wouldn't go back
I was booked in the hotel for a business trip so if I'm honest the location was not somewhere I would choose.My colleagues were in other hotels and from the website pictures I thought I'd done well.This was probably not the case as the pictures don't look like what you get. The rooms are small and even though relatively new it just looks a bit shabby.The rooms feel like they need a good clean and they're cold. The blanket just wasn't sufficient but the beds are comfy.The rooms are noisy so earplugs are a must.Free wifi is excellent and staff were very helpful when we needed them.

Simple, good location
I stayed at Best Western President for two nights from 26 Apr to 27 Apr. The hotel is about 5 minutes walking distance from Times Square, and about 8 to minutes' walking distance to Port Authority Bus Terminal at St 42.If you are someone who is not looking for luxury, this could be the best choice, it rate is considered as reasonable but please expect, simple and nothing extra.If you are coming to New York with cost conscious, and just to enjoy the sightseeing and shopping and not the quality of the hotel, this should be the one.The staff is reasonable friendly, maybe they are always busy with answering questions, therefore, they asked in short and no intentions to help further. I could understand at the level of stress and busy schedule.

Girls week in NYC
Girlfriend and I chose hotel due to price. Small room with twin beds,but comfortable and quiet. No cold water, light bulb out, housekeeping a bit sketchy, but front desk help excellent and took care of all the problems with concern. Free wi-fi a plus. Free USA today and maps.Hotel does need some updating, but we were only in the room to sleep, so that really didn't bother my friend and I.Close to subway, TKT booth, plenty of restaurants in area or in nearby Hell's Kitchen. We compared what we got at BW to other hotels we have stayed at on our yearly girls NYC trip and have decided we will stay again if the price is right. Overall a very good stay.

For sure was not what we expected based on the site's photos and reviews, quite small rooms and bad sleep quality , since it was rather cold during the night . Location is great and its one of the reasons i would recommend it. Service was quite good , depending on the day and person.Overall impression quite average.

fab girly weekend
Arrived at hotel with 3 friends and although the start was not what we expexcted it was all good from then on. Opening the door to our rooms we were met with the rooms the size of a cupboard- no kidding!! Went to reception and were moved to larger, much nicer room with no extra charge. Staff were very helpful, reception to housekeeping staff. Bathroom is small but is all you need, Was clean and fresh towels every day. Were on level 7, ok sirens go constantly but you would here it prob in any hotel in NYC and you are not far from a firehouse. Locatino is 10/10, walk to end of street and you are at Times Square
