Welcome to London
For a first time in the City of London this hotel was well situated for walking along the Thames River from Tower Bridge to the London Eye, with all the famous landmarks along the way. Close to the DLR train station for access to the O2 Arena and Docklands areas, and close to the subways for trips further across the city. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms with a delicious breakfast to start the day. An excellent location for any visit to the city

Holiday saved by chamberlain hotel
After 2 horrendous nights in a nearby chain hotel, we walked in to this hotel on Sunday morning asking if they had spare rooms for Sunday and bank holiday Monday. Fortunately, they had a luxury double at the quieter back part of the hotel at a very reasonable price. We checked in there and then and what a good decision it was. Spacious, clean and comfortable room; Good bathroom; good breakfast; superb and helpful staff. It would probably be a little bit noisier during the week as it is situated in the city, but as a weekend hotel at a reasonable price, then it probably won't be bettered. Nearest tube stations are aldgate and tower hill, so never far away from the main tourist areas.

superb hotel
stayed here with my daughter as part of her birthday present,the location is excellent for the Tower of London,HMS Belfast & the shard also very close to the underground network.The hotel is very clean, rooms comfortable & the bar & bar food is priced quite reasonable,the staff were very polite & both check in & check out was very smooth

Excellent comfortable and friendly
Stayed here for two nights on a theatre trip to the city this hotel is the perfect place to set base... The rooms are comfortable, very nicely decorated and serviced to a high standard, breakfast was plentiful and served by efficient happy staff. The Chamberlain Hotel has everything you could need for any reason whether business or pleasure. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Well located but not best value
We chose the hotel for its location and in this respect found it very convinient as it was very close to both the City and Canary Wharf was a ten minute drive away. It is also extremely close to the Tower of London if one has time for a little sight seeing and within walking distance from a number of stores. It was clean and tidy and the staff was friendly but we found it to pricy for the overall feel of it. Our room was not spacious enough, possibly in need of redocorating and the bed was softer than we prefer. Wifi service was excellent and free and breakfast was acceptable.
