The location is unbeatable! It is really closed to several subway stations. Lafayette is 10-15 minutes away by walk. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is not that many choices, but it's good for me.There is only one cons: wifi in the room. The wifi is soooo weak that I can barely use it in the bed.

Great Hotel for a Paris Break
just back from a long weekend In Paris. We found the Hotel exactly what we needed for a first stay in Paris - conveniently located, friendly staff, good rooms, nice litte touches such as free soft drink mini bar and a glass of champagne. We arrived early via Eurostar and left our bags at about 10am, the man on reception was very helpful and we were quickly on our way. The local area has some nice bars and good restaurants and with two very close metros travel around the city is very easy. I know I sound like a Brit abroad but the TV had BBC1 and 2! I would definitely book again and I even had a smile from the breakfast lady (perhaps she reads the reviews?) - thanks to all the staff in the hotel

Great location and stay. ...
My wife and I stayed for a week here last week. Cannot find fault at all.....staff all understood our English thiugh my wife used conversational French at every opportunity. Breakfast was busy only 1 morning....you get a typical continental breakfast so those people complaining about a full English fry up can forget it. ...we ate as much as we wanted. By the way the girl at breakfast was called Rachel. .she was actually quite pleasant once you got talking to her ... reception staff excellent. .location 100%...Place de Clichy station has a main line...will get u anywhere with minimal changes and a bit of forward planning. ..loads of eating places nearby and a multi screen cinema for a wet night...original english soundtracks....all in all we can thoroughly recommend this hotel. ...you don't go on holiday to sit in your room..youll get fed..showered a good nites sleep to start the next day. ...Thanks to all.

Nice hotel and great location
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during a business trip. The hotel is in a quiet side street and walking distance to two metro stations as well as Gare St. Lazare. The hotel offers a really good breakfast and some light food from 5-8pm (free of charge). The soft drinks in the mini bar are also free of charge. The rooms are decent size and nicely furnished and decorated. There is also an electric kettle in the room. The elevator is tiny which is typical for these small inner city European hotels. There is a police station right next to the hotel. The neighborhood has plenty of cafes and small restaurants but little shopping. The closest shopping including food is at Gare St. Lazare. Neighborhood felt safe, even early in the morning when I walked to Gare St. Lazare. I would definitely stay there again and recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure trips to Paris. The reception staff is very friendly. Only the breakfast counter lady seemed to be in a bad mood every morning.

Ideal Base for Sightseeing
We enjoyed three nights at Hotel Opera Pavillon and found it the ideal location for visiting all the main attractions in Paris on foot or by Metro. It is also ideally situated on a quiet street, but not too far from plenty of restaurants. A continental breakfast was available every morning with a choice of fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, fruit juice, cold meats, cheeses, bread rolls, croissants and pain au chocolat as well as boiled eggs cooked to order. Although the breakfast room was a little cramped especially on the Sunday morning. There was also a cold buffet served between 5.30pm and 7.30pm for those that wanted it. Our room was comfortable and well maintained with a generous en-suite.The staff all spoke good English and were very helpful. The were also happy to store our bags both when we arrived too early to get in our room and when we had all day to wait for our return Eurostar train.
