We booked 7 nights but we stayed only one. The reason: disgusting toilet, dirty floor, red bugs in the bed, ants and cockroaches on the floor. When we told to the lady at the reception that we would like not to stay she did not ask anything she only got sore and became really ungallant. She told us to check-out immediately and when we told that we would check-out only at midday she threatened us to charge the whole day if we would be late. Now it is already 3 weeks that we came home and we still did not get back our 108 EUR (price of one night) that was blocked by the bank at booking. (The lady said we would get it back in one week.)When we arrived home we sent them our opinion and we do not have any reply up to this day. (Thank God we found a very nice hotel in the next street for a cheaper price. )

The hotel was nicely located, only a few steps away from a lively street full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. even a big supermarket only a few minutes walking distance. The room we got was really small and we could hear all sorts of noises very clearly but the most inconvenient one was the daily slam of doors which started as early as 6 or 7am. We thought it was the cleaning staff but we never bothered to investigate. One morning we did see from our window (which was turned to the back) that staff was cleaning the trash bins and that caused a lot of unnecessary noise at 7am.The room sound insulation was bad. We did ask to move to another room next morning. We were given the chance to see it but we decided to stay in our original small room as we could tell the quality of the mattress was better than the bigger room. Also, it had a strong smell of smoke and it was turned to the street, we were concerned that we would hear all the outside noise (there are a couple of bars across the street). Breakfast is very basic and we could have done a bit better with some cheese and ham, and some variety of yogurts. The lunch box is a great touch and useful for people like us who literally walked Paris all day long but it shouldn't be what increases the price of the room as we could have bought those same sandwiches, apple & bottle of water in the many supermarkets we found in our way. The room was clean but you can feel the oldness of the place and you can tell there has been recent renovation. Overall would recommend due to location but not necessarily the facilities and definitely not the price. I know it's Paris but after some local research I found better prices in places equally well located and perhaps with better facilities. Wi-fi was free and good enough for the use I had. The staff was always very polite and welcoming no matter at what time of the day which always makes things better.

I stayed with my husband for a week. It is a very good and clean hotel. Although the rooms were small, they were clean and hot. The bed was big and comfortable. The hotel is very close to the metro station so it is easy to go wherever you want. The staff was very friendly, polite and they speak english fluently!The only disadvantage was the poor breakfast. We don't have any other complains and we would certainly stay there again.

Been there for 3 nights with boyfriend and I can only say that this is the place to stay... The location is amazing!!!!it is not expensive - we even had breakfast and luch box included... Big like!!!!!breakfast was continental, very good, but every day the same :( anyway we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to friends.

There are a lot of good things about this hotel: clean room, breakfast and box lunch, great location and inexpensive. The only thing I didn't like was the staff. I wouldn't say they were rude, just indifferant; they just didn't seem to care aobut their guests. If you know Paris, know where you're going and what your'e going to do, this is a good place to stay. If your'e a little unsure don't expect any help. Another issue I have with the hotel is that there is no dirrection on how to get from the subway to the hotel. I spent almost an hour looking for it.
