Location, Location, Location
A very comfortable hotel with friendly, helpful personnel. The room was clean and quiet with very comfortable beds. Main advantage was the location very near Central Station where you can travel to and from the airport. Also near river cruise piers which are behind the station and the tramway terminal where you can catch a tram to anywhere else in the city at a reasonable price. It is also in the downtown walking/shopping/no cars area and near the Anne Frank House and other sights. There is a lovely restaurant right next door called Humphrey's which is great if you are travel tired. We thought their breakfast overpriced but found all sorts of more reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Cabs if taken must park across the street and you must walk across the road (look both ways) to get to the hotel.

Good hotel, convenient location
The hotel is very nice, courteous staff, good breakfast. I had a "superior" room, which was a bit small for my taste, but the price (around 100 EUR / night) was good. Room was clean, king size bed was very good. My room did not have a view, but I know there were nice ones overlooking Amsterdam. Ask during booking or at reception to get one of those.I don't care about the hotel "theme" too much, but it was not too irritating. Everything is plastered with b/w photos of multiethnic people... supposed to be urban charme, I guess.I especially liked the breakfast area and the small bar behind the reception. Drinks were good, normal prices and they have an open fire + comfortable lounge sofas.Hotel location is GREAT, walking distance to Centraal station, Damrak, Dam square, shopping streets... I loved it!Overall, it was a fantastic stay, especially considering the price.

Great location!
My husband and I stayed at inntel hotels Amsterdam centre for 1 night in late April 2013. We arrived in Amsterdam by train and it was 5 mins away from Amsterdam Central Station. No need to take the tram, just walk to the hotel. Be careful of the bike lanes though! Once we found the hotel, check in was easy. The room was a bit small, but had a safe and free wifi. The hotel is basically walking distance to almost everything. We bought our Heineken Experience tickets from the front desk, they were discounted (same price as online) so you don't have to purchase tickets in advance. We had dinner at the restaurant next door called Humpreys - very good food. The hotel stored our luggage for us the next day after check out since our flight wasn't until 8pm. We returned for our bags and headed back to Central Station. Great hotel and great location.

Wonderful hotel and staff
Nice modern and clean hotel , Very friendly and helpful staff who cannot do enough for you ! They organized a birthday surprise for my friend with no problems . Nice modern clean rooms and great breakfast choice . They even gave me an mp3 player as my booking stated a surprise package . Gideon at the bar was lovely and all the reception and porter staff are great , A fantastic location with plenty to do around i would highly recommend this hotel .

Brilliant location in Amsterdam!
We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and the check-in was quick and efficient with polite staff. We paid around $220 per night - which isn't cheap but also wasn't the most expensive going around. We went up to our room which was a little small but clean and tidy. The best point about this hotel is it's location. 5 minutes from Amsterdam Central train station, 2 minutes from the red-light district, and about 15 seconds from one of the best pubs in Amsterdam (In de Wildeman) Free wi-fi was provided - and was excellent. A drawback was that the bathroom was a tad small and had a shower over the bath which we dislike and find to be a hazard getting in and out of. However it was clean and functional. The bed was ok (but was two single mattresses pushed together) and the pillows were excellent. It was quite noisy in the room until late and I imagine on a weekend it could be very loud making it a little hard to sleep. Overall we would stay there again purely because of the cleanliness of the room, the wi-fi and the superb location.
