Disappointing
Booked this hotel for a special celebration trip for our friends 50th birthday. Booked some junior suites as it was a special occasion but was very disappointed, rooms were large enough and bed was exceptionally comfortable however air conditioning was totally inadequate, I would hate to have stayed there at peak temperatures! The junior suites we booked had balconies but the furniture on the balconies was a disgrace. Our room wasnt as bad, the furniture was just dirty however our friends in the adjacent rooms were given rickety old table and 2 very uncomfortable chairs that looked like they had just been taken out of a skip!On the plus side, staff were very friendly and accommodating whenever we needed taxis ordered or restaurants booked.If you have option to opt out of breakfast included, I would suggest you do...breakfast was pretty poor and very much overpriced.The little cafe across the road served a lovely breakfast for a fraction of the cost.The bar within the hotel wasnt well located as you had to walk through the diners in the dining room to get to it.Not sure if I would use hotel again, I think we could have found better for same price.Didnt spoil our trip to Rome, fantastic city and fantastic people!Loved it !

Friendly comfort
Stayed at this hotel for five nights and although we were not tempted by the very small uninspiring restaurant and poorly stocked bar we did enjoy the welcome of friendly, helpful staff and a clean spacious and extremely comfortable room. We were tucked peacefully away on the 6th floor well away from any noise or bustle. It is an easy walk into the centre of Rome and our first day was spent around the Trevi Fountain! The internet connection was patchy but did eventually work. All in all a good choice for a stay in one of the most romantic cities in the World.

Great Location
The hotel is in a great location in Rome almost 10 minutes walking to Rome main attractive locations and the main train station. Check-in and Check-out was good and very fast and the room was very clean but outdated. We visited in April and the A/C was still off for winter which was a problem for us as we are used to it and it was not that cold. Overall the hotel was very good for its price and location.

English Lazio Duo
Great location. The room was very comfortable but was a bit warm on some occasions and the air con was not very effective. However this was our 6th visit to Rome and the best hotel we have stayed in. Will def stay here again.

Disappointing!
We stayed here in April 2013 for three nights and on the first night were given a lovely room on the fourth floor. However, it was so hot as the heating in the hotel was on and couldn't be turned off and if we opened the window the noise from the traffic was deafening virtually all night. So our first night was very uncomfortable and we got very little sleep. The next day we asked to be moved to a quieter room which the staff willingly agreed to and although it was quieter and cooler it looked more like staff accomodation with very basic decore and more like a two star hotel although at least it was cooler and quieter. We didn't complain again because we didn't want to spoil the holiday but we did both feel that we had paid for 4 star but got 2 star. It terms of location it was great but the traffic noise from the street below is a real problem and doesn't stop until about 3.am!
