Tries really hard
Stayed here overnight and found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. check in was quick and easy. The room wasnt great, this place needs a big injection of cash to get it into the 21st century, It has the feel of a 1970s type hotel. However, the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Close the blinds and shutters and there is no outside noise and there is the ability to control the temperature in the room. The shower left a lot to be desired and there was paper hanging off the wall. We needed to eat here after a work conference and we asked how late they would do food. We were told food finished at 10pm but we could ring and order if we were going to be a bit late. Despite the obvious neglect of the place we found the food to be really nice, fresh and tasty. We ordered dessert after 10pm, the chef said this was ok and it was brought to us. Unfortunately all of the beers and lagers had 'gone off' so we had to have a drink from the fridge (which cant have been on as nothing was cold!) I would say that this place is really tired and doesnt do justice to the staff who have to work in such a sub standard hotel. I would certainly not pay full price to stay here, but with a huge discount its absolutely fine for a one night stop off.

not a good hotel for the money we paid
We arrived in the afternoon very hot, no aircon working, i complained but got a negitive result .We r refurbing the hotel was there answer. rooms r very small and noisey sirens all nite, and restaurant was closed.we had to eat at a little pub around the corner. We will not recomend to any travellers we no.

Good hotel as a base in London
Stayed here for 6 nights in April. I will start with the good: Location, close to Euston Station, Warren Street Station, and an easy walk to Tottenham Court Road and on to Oxford St - We easily made our way around the city from this location. There are a few pubs and some good Indian restaurants about a 5 min walk away. We easily walked to St Pancras from the hotel as well. No complaints about breakfast, a good selection of things to eat each morning. Certain staff are good, for me it was the night staff who were the most helpful, but it is clear there is a major management problem. For us, the rooms are fine, yes they are small, but I was expecting a shoe box, this was not the case, for two people with luggage (not excessive luggage) the room is fine, the bed is comfortable, there was an opening window and good heating if needed. We didn¿¿¿t spend any time in the room besides sleeping and getting ready in the morning - so for us, the rooms are fine...except for our temporary water problem.... The Bad:Water: Good for the first day, then stopped working - so annoying! (The the showers are tiny, if you are very tall or not able bodied they could be quite dangerous) We let the staff know in the morning but this wasn¿¿¿t fixed until the night staff actually put a maintenance call in - it was eventually fixed. The WiFi: only worked sometimes in the Lobby, not at all in our room ¿¿¿ Annoying when they say its included and available in your room!Would I recommend this hotel to my Mum, no, but to a young couple travelling on a low to mid-range budget then yes, stay here, but don¿¿¿t expect 4-5 star service when you are paying 2-3 star London prices!

I was having difficulty printing my train tickets and amol at the front desk was fantastic with his assistance. Would recommend this premier inn very helpful staff would stay here again also for the location garry & Shelly

Depends on what staff are on as to how you are treated
I stayed on a business trip as it was near Euston station but that is all I can say that is positive part from clean sheets. They didn't have my booking and dismissed me until I produced a confirmation email, they still could not find my booking and told me the hotel was full, they then came back to me after serving everyone else with a cancellation in hand, until I pointed out it was not me. Eventually they gave me a room!!!! Which I had to pay for even though it had been paid for by the company. This all took 1hr 35 mins and made me late for my evening meeting. My company have complained and were told staff were in training that day, well actually it was the female trainee that was the more helpful, the man was ignorant with a couldn't be bothered attitude. I was told my card would be credited that was 9days ago and I am still waiting. The rooms are poky and very noisy as its on main road. I will not stay here again even at the last minute.
