Our goto place
We come here often as our get away from the hot east bay. Rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. It's located close to the city for exploring and there's a lot to see in the area. We both find something we like in the with enough to choose from. It's pet friendly which we enjoy also. Check inn has always been quick and easy. As it gets later in the night parking gets harder but there's more parking in back.

Tired hotel. Park, Sleep and fly option for SFO
This hotel is definitely not up to the usual LQ quality we expect. It's old, and showing it. The staff is very nice. It's a Park, Sleep and Fly option for SFO, however there are others in the same area that are much nicer for the same rate.Because of the Park, Sleep and Fly parking is at a premium. You may have trouble finding a parking spot.

Good Park & Fly Choice
We stayed one night and used the park and fly rate. The room was clean, but the elevator could used some attention, shuttle service was efficient and there was no problem finding a place to park our car in spite of a full hotel. The breakfast was typical and we did find yogurt as well as hard boiled eggs. Bed was comfy and while other reviews have mentioned a train, our room faced the tracks but apparently they are not used-at least not while we were there. The freeway is within sight but did not bother us and I am a light sleeper. There are 2 buildings for this hotel and the park and fly guests stay in the back building and are instructed to park there. Since I did not stay in the main building I cannot compare the 2. As I said earlier, our room was clean and while it wasn't the Ritz, it was just fine.The shuttle is scheduled and stops at other area hotels but the schedule they give you when checking in makes it easy to figure out which shuttle to take based on your flight.There is a Denny's at the entrance to the parking lot so if you are without a car or do not want to move yours after parking it, you can very easily walk to Denny'sAll in all, when comparing prices for park and fly, this one offered the best deal.

Not bad
French,it was our first trip a SF.La Quinta is near the highway leading to SF;good point for easily visiting the town and returning to the airport but.....our first night has been a nightmare,our bed room was just in front of the highway.Fortunaly we have been able to change for another room for the next two others nights ......quiet this time.The rooms were very clean,comfortable and of good size,the breakfeast was correct,the service not bad although the personal doesn't show a great amability.A good hotel considering the price for SF, but it's necessary taking care of the localisation of the bedroom.

This particular La Quinta missed the mark
I have stayed at other La Quintas and was happy with them. However, this La Quinta is lacking.On the positive side:- The staff were all courteous, helpful, and efficient.- I had no problems with billing.- The beds are comfortable. - The WiFi works very well. - The location is great if you need to be close to the San Francisco airport. - Water pressure in the sink and shower is good.Negatives:- Buildup of dust, dirt, and debris on the hall carpets where the floor joins the wall. All vacuum cleaners have a tool to get into these corners.- Mold on shower tile and bathroom wall- Room carpet was severely stained- Reading lamp didn't work- Room heating/cooling controls didn't work- 24/7 loud freeway noise- Bathroom toiletries skimpy. No lotion, no shower cap, no conditioner, not enough hand/body soap- Free breakfast lacking: Dried out white bread and bagels, no packages of oatmeal or any other hot cereal, scrambled eggs had no cover and were located poorly. I know the facility is not responsible for guests behavior, but be warned. Guests were rude, pushy, and were coughing all over the exposed food. The breakfast is a good place to stay away from unless you want to catch the flu/pneumonia. There was no staff attendant to keep an eye on things and replenish food and supplies. I think an attendant would help a lot.
