During the Hotwire checkout process, you will be given the opportunity to purchase Trip Protection. The insurance fee is not included in your Hotwire package rate. If you choose to buy insurance, your Hotwire reservation and insurance charges (from Allianz Global Assistance) will appear as two separate transactions on your credit card statement.
If you do not buy Trip Protection during the Hotwire booking process, you may still contact Allianz Global Assistance directly and get coverage up until your departure. All policy documentation will be sent directly to you from Allianz Global Assistance. All claims and questions are handled by Allianz Global Assistance.
