Rental Car Protection is insurance against rental car losses or damages that Hotwire offers through a partner provider, Access America. This policy covers physical damage to a rental car, up to a maximum of $40,000, which is caused by a collision, fire, storm, vandalism or theft and occurs during the rental period (maximum 45 days). This competitively priced coverage is primary. Primary coverage pays before any coverage that is secondary. It also includes a 24-Hour Help Hotline. A staff of multi-lingual problem solvers is available to help you gain access to local resources and information you need to solve a medical, legal or travel related emergency.
