If you are you are probably in the right place. We stayed in a type one apartment which was nice. Plenty of space, clean and well equipped. The washing machine was particularly welcome.The apartments are very near to the dropzone about 5 minutes walk with all kit. There are several supermarkets really near. The blue sky bar is minutes away (very good) and another restaurant across the road near Aldi (not recommended).If you aren't planning on flinging yourself out of a plane the location is not the best - 30 minutes walk into town. It's not a bad walk, all level, but not what you'd want to do every night.The only drawbacks we found were the limited opening hours of reception, the wi fi going off and the limited amount of English TV channels (not too big a deal if you like CNN).The complex has a lot of steps. At first I quite pleased that we were in a lower level apartment until I found how much noise the people above us could make. They weren't being rowdy but every time they moved a chair it scraped across the tiled floors - not great at 7a.m when there are 4 people above you.

We stayed here in August 2012 and we were overall very happy with our apartment. We came to Empuriabrava to skydive and the location is perfect, a short walk away from the dropzone! The apartment was very clean and close by to a few supermarkets, so great if you wan¿¿t to stay in a cook sometimes. We would recommend Maurici and would like to come again next year.

Stayed here on a weekend skydiving trip with a friend, it was good value for money. Easy to find and a 5 min walk from the dropzone, our apartment had a kitchen and there was a lidl across the road, so we ate in most nights. I would recommend it if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay. The pool is located in the centre of the complex and was being refurbished when we were there. Perfect for skydivers if you are going to be spending all day at the dropzone.

This was our 4th stay at Maurici in a Type 1 room.We booked it directly with Maurici but you can also book through skydive empuriabrava.Empuriabrava is a holiday resort with one of the biggest dropzones in Europe.Being skydivers we love Empuria because it has a great dropzone and is located in a holiday resort.Maurici is a popular accomodation with skydivers - TIP: 'apparently' skydivers get a discount, so try saying that you are a skydiver (they wont ask you for proof)Maurici is not the cheapest place to stay but it is reasonably priced, and better than staying in the bunkhouse at the dropzone !The rooms have air conditioning and heating for the winter.There is a fridge, microwave, washing machine, sink, 4 electric hobs, a safe and a TV (which only has spanish channels).The room we stayed in this time (as shown in the pictures) was slightly bigger than the rooms we normally stay in, but I prefered the layout of the slightly smaller rooms.We had a better view from the balcony during our previous stays (the same as the one from our bedroom window in the attached pictures).It was nice to sit on the balcony watching the planes take off and parachutes in the sky.The dropzone is only a 5 minute walk from Maurici.Cleanliness of the room is average.You have to supply your own toilet roll.You get towels supplied.Entrance to the complex is by a 4 digit key code on the doors (which is changed every month or so, for extra security).The pool is located in the centre of the complex and was being refurbished when we were there.With the pool being in the centre of the complex its probably shaded for most of the day, which is a shame.Then again we've never bothered using the pool.There is quite a big super market (known as the 'SuperMerkat') a hundred yards round the corner which comes in very handy.Maurici is fine for us when we go on jumping holidays to Empuria.
