The room was very nice. The beds are comfortable. The hosts were wonderful. The food was great. However it is a little pricey compared to the other bed and breakfast we found in Ireland. Don't stay here if you don't have a car.

We loved it - stayed on the way to giants causeway. We had a lovely pot of tea on arrival and loved all the luxuries. The heating and water went off, but the owners fixed it pronto! Lovely people, lovely breakfast, great room and great location ...but you need a car!

I booked this place because of the reviews and there isn't much else I can say that hasn't already been written. The breakfast was amazing and there was so much on offer, the room was comfortable and felt homely. The location was great for us as we wanted to head out to the Causeway, in summary, we expected this place to be great and it was. I will definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

During our two-week adventure in Ireland, we made a six hour trek by car from Galway to Bushmills for a three-day stay on Northern Ireland¿¿¿s beautiful Antrim Coast. Bushmills is a quaint Northern Ireland village with a population of about 1,500. We stayed just outside of Bushmills at the Causeway Lodge for its top rating on TripAdvisor and proximity to the beautiful scenery offered by the Causeway Coastal Route.Bushmills provided everything we needed from food to gas, and the Causeway Lodge provided a great place to stay with warm hospitality and exceptional breakfasts. We chose the Causeway Suite, which felt like a studio apartment. The decorating was very tasteful and the bathroom was fantastic. The large main living area was a treat when we decided to stay in during a rainy day.On several occasions, we were greeted at the door of the lodge so we would not have to find a key to get in during light rain. The countryside surrounding the lodge is quite beautiful and it was only a short 3-mile ride to the coast. Once on the coast you can drive in either direction for fantastic views. The coastal towns can be easily reached from Bushmills as well. Personally, I enjoyed the quietness of staying at the Bushmills/Causeway lodge location and visiting the more touristed coastal towns during the day. Don't forget to park and stroll down to Whitepark Bay. It is not far from the lodge and it has a tranquil and beautiful beach.If you can afford the slight premium for the Causeway lodge I highly recommend it. It was among one of the nicest places we stayed in Ireland and the location cannot be beat.

My husband and I were vacationing in Ireland and decided to drive to the Giants Causeway for 1 night. I booked the room at the B&B before we left the states and by the time we arrived in Ireland there was a snow storm, so we were afraid to take the drive up north. We had booked the room through expedia so we called them, sat on hold for almost an hour while the girl changed the date of our stay. She advised us that she canceled our room for the night we originally booked and rescheduled for a week later. We drove from Cork all the way up to Bushmills, (which is a 5 and a half hour drive on a good day) We drove in the rain on dark country roads so it took much longer. Luckily my husband looked at the Causeway Lodge website which said call if you will be checking in after a certain time of night. (Expedia never told us that) THANK GOD we called! The owner, Ann had no idea we had rescheduled, had no other guests that night, and could have easily not been there upon our arrival. EXPEDIA CANCELED OUR RESERVATION AND NEVER RESCHEDULED THE NIGHT AS THEY SAID!!!! Ann was beyond accommodating! If she had not have been at home when we called or was completely booked that night we would have not had a place to stay, we would have been stranded. The room was beautiful! Bathroom and shower were right out of a spa, along with heated floors! Best night sleep we had the entire trip! Breakfast was wonderful! I wish we had stayed there the whole vacation. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this B&B was. I would recommend The Causeway Lodge 100%
