Adorable B&B, beautiful setting, very friendly hosts. Beware, the ceilings are low where the doors are and you can bang your head (as I did a couple of times). If you can duck when you should, it's a great spot for some decent relaxation.

Very friendly staff and owners, who made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and in a charming, rustic atmosphere.The only drawback might have been the bed in my room, which I think might have been a bit small for my wife and I, but - as I was travelling alone - this wasn't a problem.That said, this is a real jewel of a place and I'd happily stay there again, but would email ahead ask some questions about bed size for the room I was booking if traveling as a couple.A particular highlight was the village pub, the Muddy Duck, which effectively re-opened their kitchen for me at the end of a long and wearying day. Their welcome couldn't have been warmer and I had a great time chatting with people, despite the fact that I was clearly a stranger in their midst. Everything a village pub should be and highly recommended.

I was a last - minute guest, booking in just the day before and stayed in the Double EnSuite . The ex-farmhouse borders the road through the village and is 1 minute walk from the pub. Cars can be parked in the interior courtyard space, off the road. The welcome from the owners (and beautiful Burmese cat) was friendly. The room was furnished in the "country homes" style of recent years with rose-sprigged fabrics and a large old-fashioned bed which I found very comfortable. The lack of a small table might inconvenience some. Small tv on a dresser but it was digital and had plenty of channels with a good picture. The bathroom was large and modern - including both stand-alone roll edge bath and a shower cabinet. Bathroom had secondary glazing; bedroom didn't so passing cars/tractors/lorries (not many of them!) could sound very loud. You're in the country so don't moan about pigeons cooing or cows mooing - it comes with the territory. Extra pillows and duvet available. No shampoo but no doubt could ask the owner. Room and bathroom well heated. Tea and coffee provided,(although no ordinary coffee, only decaff sachets, and no biscuits) and fresh milk available. I found the full english breakfast more than enough although surprised I wasn't asked what precisely I wanted/didn't want: it just arrived on a plate, which is unusual to say the least: they could have saved on the mushrooms which I don't much like and one of the sausages. As breakfast is kind of important in a B&B (!) I would have appreciated a discussion as to how I wanted my egg and which of the elements I could do without..... Only other disappointment was the haphazard standard of cleaning: they should look closely at the fabric covering the bedside table: it could do with a good wash, and the chairs were also in need of a re-furb. B&B at this price range is competitive and cleanliness is important. I also found a long dark hair in the bath - definitely not mine! All in all a good place to stay, but they need to spend a bit of time on the detail.

Having read the previous 2 reviews you could be put off going to this gem of a B&B. Yes it isn't modern and 'uber' cool but it is welcoming and a beautiful farmhouse with charm and history - and after all we knew we had booked into a Farmhouse B&B!! Our bedroom was extremely comfortable and lovely bathroom. We didn't have a problem with the hot water so was lovely in the roll top bath. A great addition we found out was the new pub in the village which has just opened - The Muddy Duck - fantastic place and delicious food and all within 1 minute walk for the B&B. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with cereals, toast and full english and left ready for a days shopping at Bicester Village. The owners were extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Next time we visit Bicester Village we will certainly book in at this delightful little find!

The rooms were ok but the so called full english was very poor.There was 4 of us and the amount on the platter was only enough for two people.Toast was only if you asked for more.The landlady used to be a food critic I really find this hard to believe.I think it is overpriced..
