I've stayed several times here in the B&B. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The food is really good. The staff are really friendly. It was fascinating to see the wide variety of animals that live here. I couldn't fault it - a wonderful place, and I shall definitely go again.

We stayed overnight on our way to Lundy and used their free car parking facilities as well. We booked the family room which had plenty of space and we had 2 teenage girls with us. The bathroom and bedroom were immaculate and they had the thickest, fluffiest towels I have ever used, and I've been in a few 4* hotels in my time. The breakfast was great, their own bacon, egg and fab sausages and lovely toast.We couldn't have been made more welcome with help given on organising a taxi and a great recommendation for an evening meal having driven 4 hours to get to them.Camping facilities looked good as well, basic, but that's what camping is all about (being a seasoned camper in my spare time!).Overall, I would heartily recommend this place and really do not know what others are complaining about!

I was so looking forward to a stay in this place having read all the reviews here is what I got.The room was tired.The beds were as hard as pavement.The pillows of the poorest quality foam.The top of the kettle was broken.There was a great big No Smoking sign tastefully done in gold and black stuck slap in the middle of the wall.The heating had not been turned on in the bathroom and it was freezing, I had to wait for it to heat up.The bathroom was as tired as the rest, there were cobwebs, the extractor fan needed a very good clean indeed and the shower cubicle was downright dirty.When I finally got my evening shower the water was cold.That wonderful breakfast?Instant coffee. All those accolades and instant coffee?The smallest teapot for two I have ever seen, no hot water provided, it was whipped away as I opened my mouth to ask for a top up.I do not have baked beans at breakfast, here is what my cooked breakfast consisted of:1 small egg, cooked well.1 slice of bacon with that white watery mess on it.1 half sized sausage, it's casing split, overcooked and dry.1 triangle of undercooked hash brown, inedible.6 quarters of button mushroom presumably micro-waved, almost no taste.1 very small tomato, blackened, overcooked and shrivelled.There was an adequate quantity of toast but only enough butter and preserve for 1 slice each.This is a precise, correct and honest summation, good breakfast?I am sure that at one time this place may have deserved it's rave ratings it certainly did not when I stayed there and cannot hope to keep them unless they do something radical.

We stayed in the camping barn for a couple nights last year and it was brilliant. The barn was in a lovely quiet location however it was still near enough to visit the beach and town. The barn is basic although it still has all the essentials you would need. We paid ¿¿9.00 a night and thought this was an absolute bargain and would defiantly stay at Mullacott farm again.

We were delighted with every aspect of Mullacott farm. Our room was warm and comfortable and offered all the little treats you hope for in well run B&B accomodation plus an outstandingly good breakfast.The farm is good fun to walk round and makes an excellent base for exploring North and west coast Devon.Great value!
