A: We work hard to negotiate the lowest possible hotel rates for you. Within 48 hours of booking on Hotwire, if you find a lower price for your entire stay for an equivalent room type in the same hotel on the same dates, we'll refund you double the difference!
A few things to keep in mind when requesting a Double the Difference refund:

The lower rate must be available for booking. Some sites display rates that are not actually available when you try to book. |

The lower rate must be available to the general public (corporate, AAA, AARP, employee, government, military and convention rates do not apply). |

The Guarantee is based on the pre-tax hotel rates. Taxes and booking fees do not apply and will not be adjusted. |

The Guarantee does not apply to future Hotwire reservations. For example, if you return to Hotwire and find a lower price on a hotel in the same area, for the same dates, with the same star rating as the hotel you previously booked, you will not be eligible for a refund on your prior booking. |

A:To submit a Double the Difference refund request, go to the "My Account" section. When you've logged into your account, find the hotel booking that you want to submit a request on. On the detail page for the hotel booking, click on the "Submit a Double the Difference Refund Request" link. You'll submit your refund request from this page.
If you submit a request for a Double the Difference Price Guarantee refund, you will be informed within three business days of the validity of your request. If a refund is issued, your original reservation will not be cancelled.
