Q: Why didn't I get any search results?

A: During peak travel periods like major holidays, a flight, hotel or car rental matching your exact preferences may not be available. You can increase your chances of getting a search result by being more flexible with your travel preferences. Try changing your flight departure/arrival dates, hotel check-in/check-out dates, or car pick-up/drop-off dates and search again.

Q: What's the best way to find the lowest airfares?

A: Using Hotwire is a great first step. Just run a search with your dates and destination. We'll give you prices for your exact dates and airport, but if you can save money by changing your plans by a day or using a nearby airport, we'll let you know. Between our regular and Hotwire Limited Rates, we're sure to have just the flight that works for you.

Hotwire Limited Rates provide the biggest savings, but requires the most flexibility because you'll learn your flight times or the airline after your booking. If your schedule allows you to travel at any time of day, they can be an excellent deal.

For those times when you have little flexibility, try our other rate. They are different than Hotwire Limited Rates because they are not considered unsold supplier inventory. That means we can reveal trip details such as travel times and airline names before you book.

Looking for seasonal cost-effective travel times? You'll get more than that with TripStarterTM. From prices and weather trends to local events and attractions, you'll get all the info you need to plan the perfect trip. Look for TripStarter on the Planning Tools page.

Q: I saved my search results. How do I find these when I go back to Hotwire?

A: If you have a Hotwire account, click My Account at the top of any page. There, you'll see all your activity including profile, itineraries, and saved searches.

Don't have a Hotwire account? Clicking My Account will take you to the sign-in page. Enter your Hotwire itinerary number or the last four digits of the credit card you used for booking. Note: If you have made multiple transactions, you will only be able to see the transaction(s) associated with that specific itinerary number or credit card number.
