A: Each passenger in the flight itinerary must have the proper documents for entry/re-entry into a country (e.g., correct visa, up-to-date passport). The travel documentation requirements vary, based on the passenger's citizenship and country of residence. To determine the requirements, contact the embassy or consulate of all countries involved in your travel itinerary, including all countries in which you may be transiting. You can also contact your international carrier(s) for further information on travel documentation requirements, embargos, travel advisories and/or additional requirements that may apply to the country or countries in your itinerary.
For U.S. passport requirements, application forms, where to conveniently apply, and other passport and international travel information, visit the U.S. Department of State's Passport Services at http://www.travel.state.gov
Since all Hotwire transactions are final, we recommend checking your visa and passport status (to ensure they are current/valid) prior to booking on our site.

A: At this time, Hotwire offers flights only to customers originating their travel in the U.S., U.S. territories, and Canada. Please make sure you have the correct visa and that your passport is up to date in advance of travel. Both are required for entry into the U.S. Since all Hotwire transactions are non-refundable, we recommend checking your visa and passport status (to ensure they are current/valid) prior to booking on our site.
Hotwire generally issues e-tickets. However, if our airline partner must issue a paper ticket, please provide a U.S. address where the ticket can be sent. We currently cannot ship paper tickets outside the U.S. If you cannot supply a U.S. delivery address, the booking transaction will not be completed and your credit card will not be charged.
