If a connection is required, it will most likely be under 1.5 hours. 80% of flights we book have a connection time of 1.5 hours or less. And domestic connection times are never longer than 3 hours. Are they ever nonstop? Yes, but honestly, it's seldom.
For all other rates, you'll always see the exact number of stops and duration of each flight.

A: When we search for flights, we always try to find the most direct flights available at the lowest prices. However, some itineraries require one or more connections.
Hotwire Limited Rates never require more than one connection unless we indicate in the search results 2 or more connections are required. When a connection is required for a specific itinerary, the layover time will most likely be less than 90 minutes: 80% of flights we book have scheduled connection times of 90 minutes or less. Scheduled connection times for flights within the US and between the US and Canada are never more than 3 hours.
A note about international flights: with certain departure cities and destinations, some international flights may require 2 or more connections without the additional connections being explicitly stated during your booking. In addition, connecting times in airports outside of North America may be longer than 3 hours.
