A: We'll send you email notifications of all schedule changes as we receive them from the airline, but we strongly recommend that you contact the airline directly on the day of departure to verify the status of your flight.
The email notifications we send will be delivered to the email address associated with the account of the person who made the booking. For example, if you book a ticket for someone else, the email will be sent to the address we have on file for you. (The confirmation email is sent to the same email address.)

A: In the event of a flight disruption on the day of the flight, immediately see an airline representative for instructions. Each airline has its own policies for handling disruptions. The rescheduling of a Hotwire airline ticket will be handled in the same manner as other non-refundable tickets that carry similar restrictions.

If there are any changes to your flight schedule as a result of such bankruptcies, we will send you an email notification of all schedule changes as we receive them from the airline. However, as with any air travel reservation, we recommend that you contact the airline directly prior to your departure date to verify the status of your flight.
