Holiday Inn San Jose Airport
The Holiday Inn has just been remodeled. It looks modern and classy. We did have a small problem with a ticking noise in the wall. They moved us to another room with an upgrade and we they treated us so kindly upon reporting the noise. The manager even gave us Beligan chocolate Crisps with Bubbly Spring Water. It was so nice after a long days work. The breakfast in the morning is outstanding!!! Couldn't ask for more, no scrimping. Thank you for taking such good care of us on our stay. We will be visiting again.

Bad visit impression but gets better
Easy check in, went up to our room, surprise it was dirty(9 p.m.). Returned to front desk for new room, very apologetic, new room and coupons for complimentary breakfast. The rest of our stay was uneventful. Some signs of aging but clean, comfortable beds.

Decent rooms but non existent security
First time I wrote this review (yesterday) it was mysteriously deleted. Let's try again. Wife and I arrived after midnight and noticed quite a few night creatures milling about. We had to park in the back. Side entrance was supposed to require a room key to get in but it didn't. Next morning we walked out to our car to find two very distressed families. Their car's back windows had been smashed in and all contents stolen. These were not subtle break-ins but huge smashes like a keg had been thrown through the window. Would have created a lot of noise. However, with absolutely no security around, I bet the perps felt safe. Something tells me this was not an isolated incident. Will not stay here again unless they hire some security to patrol the parking lot.

BEWARE! Purse stolen from room
Stayed at this hotel April 19-20, 2013. BEWARE!!! PURSE STOLEN from room! I checked out at noon and called back about an hour and half later as I realized I left some belongings in a drawer including a expensive purse. They stated that the housekeeper claimed not to have found anything!? When I called they assured me that only one person has entered the room since I left and that was the housekeeper. Yet, my purse is missing?! Not possible. I have called multiple times regarding this concern and have gotten nowhere. I have now filed a police report with San Jose police department. The assistant manager there Justin was very nice, yet could offer no further help. I spoke with their so called "claims" department and they were not friendly or helpful as well.

Old, uncomfortable bed
The hotel shows a lot of wear and felt grungy and the bed bounced when you sat down. This place looks like it hasn't been cleaned up or updated in many years. I prefer the San Jose Garden Airport for a similar price but far more comfortable.
