Excellent Customer service
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel due to the excellent customer service of the entire staff. I would especially like to thank the employee Gentle-joy & Molly. Both went above and beyond there duties to ensure that I had a fantastic time while in San Diego. Gentle-joy helped me with some business papers and Molly recommended some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Thank you both. Looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful Treatment
At check in we were greated by Amy Beck who provided not only a welcoming and professional demeanor, but was genuinely interested in insuring we enjoyed our stay. When we mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary (#28) she upgraded our room and provided tickets for complimentary drinks in the lounge. In addition, any time we called down to the desk, she greated me by name and was extremely helpful. She recommended a nearby restaurant which was fabulous (also, the concierge provided a card so that we received a delicious complimentary appetizer at the restaurant - Spike Africa). We enjoyed the spa/pool area (used the jacuzzi at night and ate breakfast on the patio). We liked the three different and refreshing types of water offered in the lobby and the complimentary snacks in the lounge during the evening. Although we only were able to stay one night, the atmosphere provided made us feel that we had been gone the entire weekend!

San Diego Westin
This hotel is advertised as "high end". The location is okay but parking is very expensive in my opinion. I would stay out of the downtown area. The room was average. The bed was comfortable. Some of the fixtures in the bathroom were not maintained very well. The hotel staff is very polite.

Westin San Diego
I've ordered the Double room in this hotel few months before our visit to SD.The room was prepaidI've participating in AUA 2013 and my wife just had a travel to California.A month before our arrival I've called to the Hotel to inform that we will arrive one day later and leave as planned. I've talked to Susan and was informed that my reservation will be valid but the night that i miss will not be refunded. That was ok for me. Unfortunatelly we discovered that our reservation was cancelled on arrival due to our late appearence ! After all! The manager - Amanda told me that there is no record about my call and she has nothing to do. Simply I faced complete willingless to help. After long discussion I got a twin room that was not exactly what a couple needs.The room service was good. Breakfast- nice. Lockation- exellent. Desk personal was friendly but not very professional. Parking 32$ and if you pick up your car 1 minute after midnight you get 2 days charge. Internet worked good but slow.

Good place to stay
The only reason I have given four stars instead of five is because we did not use the bar or restaraunt, we just used as a base for our holiday. . The hotel itself was very clean and attractive. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, and the rooms were everything you need on your holiday, spacious, bright and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Just what was needed after a full day exploring San Diego.
