Decent two bed room
I stayed in a second floor room with a colleague. There was a little bit of street noise. The room was a good size, the decor was much nicer than standard chain hotels, and the overall experience was good. Easy walking to the convention center and other downtown attractions. Wi-fi was free, but a little fussy to make connection the first time. I'd stay there again.

slightly dated room but comfortable
don't expect a four/five stars boutique but reasonable value for money. All staff are helpful and helpful.. very convenient for the convention center. However, unreliable free Wi-Fi is an issue need to be sorted

Okay but there are better hotels
It's an average hotel but definitely nothing to write home about. The rooms are on the small side and a bit dark. If you're on the backside of the hotel like I was, you get a great view of an industrial building and not a lot of natural light in the room. The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbors and their various activities, so not a place for light sleepers. On the plus side, the beds are super comfy. The hotel in general feels a bit on the worn side but attempting to remain a bit more alternative with photos on the room doors and a bit more eclectic color scheme. However the restaurant downstairs on the ground floor is very good. Service was overall pretty good though it was unfortunate we kept having to ask for things to be fixed or handled with our rooms.

Great location near convention center
Was here for a convention - very convenient - about 3 blocks away and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes, Pike Place market, waterfront, etc. The hotel is very modern and trendy, artwork throughout. Tiniest hotel bathroom and shower I have ever seen - if I were a larger person this would have been very difficult to maneuver! Beds were very comfortable + great pillow menu. Soundproofing is a little bit of an issue. The first night I was able to hear the couple in the adjacent room, and the traffic noise can be a little much especially if you aren't used to living in the city. Had some difficulties with internet access which the hotel staff addressed. Overall a good experience.

Not great for business travel
This is an old hotel transformed into a pseudo-boutique hotel. It has charming qualities but not the same comfort as a chain hotel. Given the age of the hotel, rooms are small and cramped. The bathroom has no counter space and it is hard to take a shower without either touching the shower wall or shower curtain. This small space makes it difficult to get get ready in the morning, not to mention the rooms are noisy and there is very little space to maneuver around the bed. Front door staff were not at all attentive and seemed more concerned with talking with other staff or looking at phones. On my second morning I woke up to brown water in the sink, of course only noticing after brushing my teeth. Notices about water cut off were to be placed in rooms but obviously my room was not included in this noticing, also housekeeping removed used towels and floor matt but did not replace the linens. Overall, a lot of nit-picky things which just made the stay uncomfortable.
