Fantastic Spot for Our Honeymoon
Our stay at the Silverado Resort and Spa was fantastic and very relaxing! All the condos at the resort are privately owned and managed by the Silverado Resort. Our One Bedroom Fireplace Suite with a Golf Course View condo overlooked the first hole of the North Course, (they have two golf courses). When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly staff who then escorted us to our home for the next four days. Every morning we enjoyed eating a great Eggs Benedict delivered to our door which we ate on our patio while watching the golfers hit their iron shots. Our condo was very peaceful and the perfect size for the two of us. It seemed bigger than it actually was because it had mirrors along the living room and sliding glass doors out to the patio. The condo was very clean and well taken care of and the bed was so comfortable that it was hard to get out of every morning. The location provided great access to the wineries along the Silverado Trail as well. Try the Castello di Amorosa for their Rosato di Sangiovese and the Del Dotto Vineyards for their Pinot Noir!

Luxury in wine country
We recently spent 3 nights in a golf course view suite which had been newly renovated. There was a full kitchen, dining/living area with a large flat screen, glass doors viewing the golf course, patio with furniture. Bedroom had a very comfortable bed, modern bath, plenty of drawers, storage. The property is beautiful, the spa is excellent. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel and staff
Great room, great location. We enjoyed the tennis courts, very courteous tennis staff. The room was a tad dated, but we didn't care. It was huge with a kitchen! We did not eat at any of the restaurants, so cannot comment the food. Would recommend this resort.

For us, just ok
We spent three nights at this resort in a 2 bedroom 2 bath villa with relatives. We had a small golf course view. Our location was quite remote from the main building and facilities, so we were not able to enjoy any of the facilities. We did use the shuttle that was offered, but one morning we called, and they never showed up, so we took our own car and ate elsewhere.I don't know, maybe it is a great resort for California, but for us Georgians, it was old, dated, and not very memorable. We would not return. It is one of those "conference" Hotels, that you would not choose for a vacation. oh well

Wonderful Stay
We stayed at Silverado for a business gathering and had a marvelous time. Room 471 was great and in a fantastic location close to the pool, tennis, and main clubhouse. Our tv in bedroom didn't have great reception but that's ok because we weren't there to hang in the room and watch tv. Room was clean and nicely furnished. Did a day of winery touring which was awesome. Pine Ridge Winery does a really nice job. Artesa Winery is not to be missed, it was unbelievable.
