Fantastic hotel
We have just arrived back from week all inclusive from 1 st to 8 th may 2013, after reading all the reviews I was looking forward to it, and from the min we arrived the hotel staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough for ya, we went alone without any children so thought that this would be noisy but it wasn't there at all, if you want to get away from animation team who worked very hard every day except Sunday as that's their day off, adult pool, adults restaurants and piano bar, we booked to go to the Greek restaurant which was lovely, waiter service....we hired a scooter and toured the island over 2 days as its only 25 miles long 5 miles wide, if you want to walk to kos town it only 1.5 miles long and plenty stop off bar, restaurants people very friendly say hello etc as you pass them, car and traffic not busy and drivers are very tolerant of us tourists x I loved zia it is must see in the mountains breath taking , there were a lot of bike hire places to choose from we went to moto Steve just outside hotel, he was friendly and no problem at all, car hire also available don't just opt for anything there were Mini Cooper, merc slk driving around with hire company's name on them, so if you want to drive around in style....go for one of them....food well to me was fantastic, a lot salads, meat, chicken, pork, beef and it seemed available constantly breakfast 7/10 then continental breakfast 10/12 then lunch and the afternoon snacks, do I go on.....ice cream for everyone available all time help yourself, alcohol good for own but be warned if you buying branded drinks like Bacardi then it is very expensive about 6 euro or 7 euro for cocktails. I could go on and on re this hotel and kos just see for yourselves hope you have as great holiday as we did

Loved it!!
Been meaning to write this review for a while but what can I say, we absolutely loved it here!! The children still ask if we can go back! Great food, brilliant facilities, pools are great for the kids and the room was clean and modern.Kos town itself is stunning. Lovely harbour and great restaurants if you fancy a change. There is a bus you can catch outside the hotel if you don't fancy walking in the heat!All in all a fab holiday and although we have a rule not to go to the same place twice, I'm tempted!!

Amazing holiday :)
I stayed at the blue Lagoon Resort in May 2012. I travelled with my partner, our 3 year old daughter and friends who had a 9 month old. We arrived late and check-in was pretty hassle free and was taken to our rooms via 'golf buggy'. The resort is HUGE !! Our rooms were one of the furthest away but to be honest we never had any issues with that. Most days we stayed by the kids pool and there are plenty of different restaurants to eat at every night. I am pretty fussy with my food and i always found something to eat at meal times. The large pool (the largest in europe - i think) is lovely !! They have a crepes stand there during the day which is must, theyre delicious. We never used the spa but we had a look around it and the treatments arent expensive either. If you were to stay in one of the rooms near the night time entertainment i would assume it would be quite noisy until late so best to stay further away from it if you have young children. If you are one to get out of the resort to see the views, to be homnest there isnt much around at all. We walked into the little shopping village to pick up souveiners but thats about it. To conclude, i had a fantastic holiday here and would have no doubt in returning again!!

Great family holiday
We had a fab family holiday with our girls aged 2&3 at the time. The food was lovely & drinks of a good standard. The entertainment was great - we had a lot of trouble getting our youngest daughter to even eat on an evening, she was so excited for the kids disco! We stayed in a family room which was not big by any stretch, but was sufficient for our needs & far enough away from the hustle & bustle which was important to us having very young children. There were plenty of activities etc for all ages. We had a lovely family holiday & would definately return.

Wedding and 2 week holiday
I have stayed here before so i am a fan of the Blue lagoon .It has everything you could need as a family holiday destination. The food is always lovely ,fresh and of a good variety and the Greek restaurant is my fave its a lovely atmosphere with sea views and lovely greek dishes. The ala carte is nice and the food was gorgeous.I wouldnt come here as a couple as this is a proper family hotel although there is an adult only pool/zone ,we had ten of us stay here for the wedding and everyone loved it here. I got married on the beach which i have heard bad things said about, i personally love the beach but it depends what kind of beach u like? this one is pebbly,rustic and rugged but stunning (yes you pass a public loo on your way down to beach but who cares!?). I chose not to have my reception at the blue lagoon simply because i wanted something a little more private however there was nothing wrong with the venues for this from what i saw. Yota the wedding coordinator we had was smashing i loved her ,very good at her job and funny, will do anything to make your day the best. The blue lagoon animation team were fab for the kids especially Seb he was fab and a great dancer.we will always return here in the future as we have enjoyed it both times if there was one bad thing i had to say it would be that on our last day we were made to feel a bit like our time was up but that was management not the main staff.Hotel was always spotless too.
