Good location...
The Hilton Metrotown is in a great location. It is just a short walk from one of the largest malls in Canada and also the trainline to the city.This hotel lobby and check in is large and the staff were most friendly and efficient. The lobby looks rather grand and modern looking.The room on the 12th floor was actually a one bedroom suite and reminds me of an upmarket serviced apartment. Its large and modern and the view was great towards North Vancouver and the snow capped mountains.What was surprising was the non-existent minibar or fridge in the room along with the non-present bathrobes and slippers commonly available at Hiltons. But this minor issue aside, the room was lovely. The bathroom was a little small but the bedroom was comfortable and roomy. The view from the bedroom was just as great.The service in the hotel was good and a bonus, the hotel is connected to another smaller mall and food court of mainly Asian variety. A good place to grab a quick bite. Mind you, the food stalls there all close around 8.00 pm.Did not have too much time to see this side of town other than to the Metrotown Mall but it is certainly a handy location to base oneself when in Vancouver, given the proximity of the trainline to the hotel.

An absolutely first class hotel
I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 10 years. The staff and managemenbt are absolutely wonderful. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet, and the beds are very comfortable. This is a great place to stay.

Very good service
This is a clean and quiet hotel just a short walk from Metrotown, with many restaurants within walking distance. There is some construction going on which can detract from the view, but otherwise a nice vista. I suggest not venturing too far up Kingsways, though, as the neighbourhood degrades quickly after Metrotown.

Comfortable, Clean and Quiet Rooms
This is a great hotel for those who are conducting business in Burnaby. Clean, reasonably priced rooms, and very close to shopping and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and quite helpful. Very close to a Skytrain stop, too. All things considered, an excellent hotel.
