My husband and I love Leura and visit regularly from Sydney. We picked up a reasonable deal on this place so were excited to give it a try. Upon check in, I requested a quiet room. I was told we had a quiet room as it was the back building. We were pretty surprised when we arrived to see we were overlooking the highway! The bed also had no linen apart from a sheet - the base was completely bare with no blankets/bed covers. And the balcony could be described as nothing other than filthy. Unfortunately the toilet was also not cleaned properly...yuck!We called reception and spoke to a different person who explained (helpfully) that the front building overlooking Leura Mall (but rooms facing courtyard) was quietest and he kindly let us swap. It would have made things easier if we were given accurate information from the start! This room had a clean bathroom and bed covers - even pretty cushions on the bed! Unfortunately it also had a filthy balcony, a dirty kitchen floor, torn flyscreens, missing cupboard door in the kitchen and missing exhaust fan cover in bathroom (so literally just a hole in the ceiling)! And no, I am not kidding or exaggerating. But wait, it gets better! When I used the hair dryer it 'exploded', giving my hand a bit of a shock and short-circuiting electricity to the whole unit (please note, this was the hotel's hair dryer). When I reported this straight away the woman was most unhelpful - no apology or checking if I was ok; just a suggestion that I try to fix the problem myself by unplugging the unit that exploded and finding the fuse box. I refused and then waited 2 hours for the electricity to be restored. At the same time, I also mentioned the kitchen cupboard door that was missing and the missing exhaust fan cover, but none of these things were addressed during our stay. In addition, after getting a replacement hair dryer (after asking twice) we were told that the plug in the bathroom had burnt out from the hair dryer exploding, so we had no power in the bathroom during our stay. No solution was offered to us. Lastly, the kettle in our room didn't work either, but was replaced when we reported this. On the plus side, 1 bedroom lofts are spacious and location is great, close to Leura Mall. I know this isn't a 5 star resort, but I still expect a clean room, decent service and working and safe appliances. The staff's response to the almost laughable series of issues we experienced was appalling and completely at odds with the usual level of friendliness and care we've come to expect from people in the Blue Mountains. We will not return and would not recommend staying here to anyone. Leisure Inn Spires don't even get the bare basics right - and there are PLENTY of other fantastic places to stay in the area for a similar amount of money that have the basics covered and offer so much more on top of this!

This is a serviced apartment and not a hotel. You would not expect to find a restaurant on site nor breakfast or free wifi. The location however is excellent and the apartments are reasonably priced especially if you get the special discounts on offer on their website. Reasonably good but could do with more facilities.

Stayed in a one bedroom, first floor apartment, plus the next door additional studio apartment, making it a two bedroom with LOTS of space, for a girls mid-week break up in the mountains. Indulgent for the two of us, but why not!The one bedroom apartment has a full, spacious kitchen, we cooked breakfast and dinner most days, with a dining space and comfortable living space. The lounge is also a sofa bed, ready made up. The bedroom is large, with lots of space. The adjoining bathroom has a spa bath.PLUS a large balcony with table and chairs, overlooking the central grassed garden area, with large gum trees, and the daily late afternoon visit from four cockatoos who obviously inspect every balcony to see just who is in residence (and perhaps there might be a cracker on offer?) The studio apartment has a kitchenette off the large bedroom area, which has a small balcony, plus a spacious bathroom with shower.Like other reviews, yes, the highway and railway line are close. Convenience comes at a cost, but really, not so noisy at all, and ear plugs make sleep time very peaceful.Fantastic location, right on the Leura Mall, close to everything, with the bonus of secure undercover parking.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary.Very close Leura Mall, only 2 minute walk to the centre of the mall. Pleasant staff were very helpful. Suggested places for dinner as we are not familiar with the area. Fabulous rooms, very modern and tidy! We stayed in a studio room and it was perfect for 2 people. Large bathroom and a little kitchenette. Would stay here again and highly reccomend to others!
