Budget hotel, nice public bath
Its not easy to find the location after get off at the OCAT by bus from Kansai airport to Namba at night. I took a taxi about 660 yen ( approx. 10USD)...

Budget hotel, nice public bath
Its not easy to find the location after get off at the OCAT by bus from Kansai airport to Namba at night. I took a taxi about 660 yen ( approx. 10USD) for less than 8 mins ride. There are many restaurants and convenient store near the neighbour. The next day, I walked to the Namba station, just right turn when you exit Dormy Inn, then walk straight for 5-8mins. You will see the swissotel hotel in front of you. Walk towards the swissotel, you will find the Namba station. I took the Japanese style bath in the morning to stay fresh and energizer for my journey. Highly recommended.

Great hotel
What a great place to stay! Fantastic little onsen - very clean and loved the added touch of floating oranges! Loved the massage chair in the room and the room was quite big for Japan. Bed was a bit firm. Breakfast was tasty and had a great selection of food along with friendly service. Staff at the desk wear a flag showing the language they speak and are very friendly and helpful. A short walk - about 5 minutes to Namba Parks and about 2 minutes to the subway. Unfortunately exit 1 has all stairs- no elevator or escalator. I would advise taking the subway to the hotel first time as although the walk is easy I don't think I would have known where to go first up. You can see Namba Parks from the window which is helpful in getting your bearings . Overall I felt it was value for money with a friendly feel. I would definitely return!

Budget hotel with English speaking staff
Dormy Inn is a budget hotel chain in Japan. Make no mistake, they aren't backpacker hostels. Their main audience are the local businessmen traveling outside their own cities. That said, prices are around 6 to 9000 yen per night, inclusive of an all-you-can-eat breakfast which tasted pretty good. This branch used to be a residential apartment, but was renovated and refurbished into what it is today, Dormy Inn Namba.Rooms available are mostly singles and doubles, for 1 to 2 persons. There are no fancy cardkey auto-locks, all door locks are the usual knob type.They have a communal bath on the top floor, for those who want to experience a Japanese communal bath. Gender segregation is done by time, eg. 07.00-14.00 men, 14.30-06.30 women, etc.The hotel staff speaks English, which helps tremendously if you cannot speak the local language.The hotel is only a 5 minutes walk from the Namba Parks shopping mall, which is a plus point.

Clean and fair priced
Friendly korean staffs who speak English, which make the communication easier. Such a clean and economic place to stay. it is only walking distance to dontoburi, is a heaven of food. There are a few streets of flee markets, it is easy to get lost in it.Loving the pharmacy outlets, selling tonnes of great quality of health products and cosmetics.

Fair priced with a good location
About a 5-10 minute walk from the Namba train station, close to all the major sights, and most taxi drivers and information centers know this hotel off the top of their head which makes finding your way back much easier in a new city. The hotel itself was okay, nothing special but a very nice size, fairly priced and clean, though the location of our room let in a surprising amount of road noise in. There is no currency exchange on the property so if you need yen be sure to get it from the airport or the subway under the Namba station for the best rates. Some members of the staff spoke English and were helpful when we needed them. One gentleman even gave us suggestions of Ramen shops in the area and suggested a fairly priced rental car company close by. The breakfast in the morning I'd skip if I were to stay again, though it was not bad it just was not my preference. Overall, a good hotel at a decent price in Japan no less is always a great find in my book, and this one is worth a shot!
