Remote area and food poisoning waiting to happen
We booked this hotel as a company group trip. What we didn't realize was how far away it was from the main strip. We normally stay at Saigon Mui Ne which is on e main strip and 4 stars. Romana resort also claimed to be 4 stars but I am not sure where they got their ratings from. Although the hotel and pool were clean, there were lots of things that were missed. The windows in the corridors didn't close properly, towels were frayed, walls were chipped and paint coming off. The restaurant was varied. Dinner in the evening was good (obviously a betterr chef at night than in the morning) however during breakfast time, food was left in the warm heat eg milk, pate, meats, mayo with no ice therefore became warm and dry. Who wants to eat cereal with warm milk? The yoghurts were out of date. Although there were many waiters no one ever came over to refill tea or coffee, you had to go up yourself - surely a 4 star hotel should offer this service. Even if I didn't know that there were better hotels in Mui Ne I still would not choose to stay here again

I loved the pool
Nice resort! The pool is amazing but catch your seat early in the morning.. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms with terrace are lovely and what a view! A little bit expensive in comparison with the rest of Vietnam but you pay what you get for. Free bus to the city center and back. Breakfast is breathtaking!

Great pool villa and views - average service
Our villa had excellent views of the sea and a fairly big private pool. The outdoor bathroom was lovely. Like many of the reviews say, the rooms are a little outdated but for the price we paid they were great. The bed was large and comfy and the air con worked well. The wifi reception was excellent in our villa. The facilities were nice - we bought our own tennis gear and enjoyed playing on a great court. The main pools were huge with stunning views and a bar. There was a billiards room, gym and spa too. The location was good for us - we enjoyed the solitude and found the free shuttles and cheap taxis to Mui Ne fine - of course it depends on what you're after. The only disappointment was the lack of service from many staff - we had to set our own table at breakfast most days, only one lady spoke good English, the staff in the restaurant and front desk usually weren't friendly or helpful and didn't understand simple requests or questions and it took a long time for the staff to collect dirty dishes from outside our villa after room service. We didn't let these things bother us though - ¿¿the price was worth it for the private villa and seclusion and we went to the main area of Mui Ne to eat. If you want a super relaxing holiday and value for money then it's good.¿¿

Great Place To Relax
Well Romana Resort was a great place to start my trip when l check in and taken to my room what a surprize the size was more like a suit and not a sandard room the view out over the south china sea was to die for the pool and bar area is agreat place to swim and relax or a short walk down to the beach white sand and clear water for your meals which ever meal you want in the dinning room or by the pool your taste bubs will be more than happy the day spa is agreat way to start you stay l had the three hour make over for men l so relax at the end of it that fell asheep

Too Far Away
Stayed here for 4 days and while the resort looked good the rooms were dated, dirty, in need of maintenance. We had the air conditioning break down on 3 days and the wifi was inconsistent at best. The IT expert told us it is because the hotel is so isolated?When you want a good cup of coffee you need to take a taxi for 10 minutes into town. The breakfast buffet must get hit hard early because if you come down at 9am there is little left to choose from. This place is overrated and overpriced.
