Ok hotel in good location
Location is good close to Ben Thanh, but that is nearly it. Rooms are ok, but ours did not have a window. Staff seems not to be very motivated, but we did not have any issues otherwise. Breakfast was included in the room rate, though it is nothing special. Seems a bit overpriced, but I guess that is what you pay in the area.

Average place
The room is fine. Breakfast is not good. Staff is quite rude. There is an extremely noisy bar downstairs. Very closed to BenThanh market is a plus, it is ok in general. I think you can pay less for nicer place

Rooms very good, perfect location, service could be improved
The hotel is located very central nearby markets, restaurants and entertainment. Rooms are very clean and complete for this price range. Service from reception should be improved. The days they have a buffet breakfast it is good, the days they provide breakfast at the tables is not so good. The breakfast restaurant is inside the building (no windows). Overall its a good hotel. There is a nightclub downstairs which opens late in the evening (the nightclub is expensive).

Misery...
Booked this place based on reviews on another website. It faces a very noisy main road, but is close to the market & fairly central. There seemed to be a Bar/club in the 1st floor.Check in took a while, poor english from the staff & confusion over booking. We were shown to a room on the 3rd floor, which was filthy. Stains on the bedding, live electrics hanging out the walls, plumbing falling apart, everything metal was rusty, the lights were half hanging off the walls. The in room safe didn't work. Aircon did work, but was very noisy...I dropped a bottle of water that rolled under the bed. I didn't retrieve it, it hadn't been cleaned under there for years. Dead insects, fluff, hairs, old guests rubbish. We packed & left. I did use the free WIFI to book another hotel, for a little over twice the price we booked the Majestic, which is stunning. Don't touch the Dai Nam with a barge pole! Spend an extra few bob & get a different world of quality.One more thing to mention, I always use the stairs in hotels. The only staircase I could find in this one lead to the restaurant on the 1st floor, then through a kitchen area to get out. No sign of any fire escape, & as any fire is likely to break out in the kitchen it seemed like a bad idea. No idea how you'd get out if there was a fire.

I would never recommend it
Had the unfortunate " pleasure" of staying here with no chance of changing hotel. It is so noisy, with the club pumping out music you can hear and feel till all hours. We could also hear the really loud water pressure pump which the other hotel mentions. Think it's largely tour groups who stay here, surely no one would out of choice? "
