Adi was the fourth hotel I tried in Ubud and it is now the only one I would stay at.It was recommended to me by a businessman who told me that it was the best value for money in Ubud and now I believe him.While the rooms are not spectacular they are comfortable and well appointed.However it is the location and staff who make my stay so enjoyable.The cottages are right in the center of the main street and you could walk out and go in any direction and still hit a first class eatery.And there are good always excellent blues, jazz, and rock bands playing somewhere within close walking distance.The staff at Adi are fantastic. They are friendly, happy and always ready to help. Nothing is too much trouble.On my stay before last I managed to leave my medication at home.The staff at the desk organized an appointment with a doctor. One staffer transported me to the doctors rooms, stayed with me to translate as required and then took me to the chemist who was recommended.This friendly attitude seems to rub off onto the guests and I have many fond memories of the people that I have meet at Adi.I don't feel that it is the sort of hotel that would suit a family as it has more of the feel of a oasis than a playground, but for anyone looking for excellent value, close to all amenities, I don't think you could fault it

Having been to Bali 81 times, I can with truly say this is 1 of my favourite hotels. I have stayed at numerous hotels throughout Bali. Adi cottages is a very small Balinese hotel. It has no more than 25 rooms if that. Small and welcoming reception area and very friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed there so often, the staff all welcome me as family. Welcome Home Jenni. I often bring my Teenage girls there. They do love it.. However I would say it is perfect for couples and singles travelling on a medium to low budget. It does have upstairs rooms, which will hinder someone who finds it difficult climbing stairs. Certainly no wheelchair access. The swimming pool is small and clean. This is a hotel with a quaint yet comfortable breakfast area. It provides you with free coffee and tea making facilities.. You do have to ask for fresh milk if you are not into the powdered variety. The staff are always happy to help. Breakfast is lovely and the pancakes are amazing.Free Wifi and a computer to use if you did not bring 1 with you.This hotel is located right in the heart of Ubud, on Monkey Forest Rd. Close to all the amazing things Ubud has to offer.Quiet, small, friendly very reasonable priced. I would say it is best for people that enjoy a small quiet hotel. More so directed to couples, lone travellers. It is also small enough to hold business meetings with reasonable peace and quiet. One of our favourite restaurants that was directly next door Baby Face has finally closed it's doors. I am excited this coming trip to see what the new owners have done with the place. I will let you all know.The hotel does not really gear itself to families but the staff are very accommodating. However you are so close to all the things that are so wonderful about Ubud. You are directly in the heart of all the action, with fabulous local music, fabulous food and wonderful people.I personally love small, clean hotels. There are 3 different room types. Junior suite, Deluxe and superior. They are all value for moneyJenni, Bagi, Maddi and Mikki

Adi Cottages are in a central location & provide a cool oasis from the main street madness.We had a junior suite & was great value. Clean & cool with a huge bed, tv & fridge. Pool was refreshing but careful not to slip !!! Breakfast was adequate for us as we are not big eaters. Staff always polite & happy.....Adi is perfect for those who want peace & quiet.Would definately recommend & stay again .....Loved it !!!

An average hotel. Spacious room with lovely bath. Fairly large garden with swimming pool. The tiles in the pool are very slippery, I slipped often as I wanted to enter the pool. Me and my husband have often hurt ourselfs in the pool, even though you were so careful. The staff were very kind and helpfull. The hotel is ideally located, close to restaurants.

We rented a room here for four days in December.We did not have a reservation and had two children with us. We paid over $100 for an average room w one mattress on the floor.Breakfast is one egg, one toast small fruit platter and free coffee. Kids were still hungry after Brkfst. Our room was suffice, however first thing noticed was linens were not clean and duvet was dirty too. Brown foot marks on walls beside beds, all they needed was a wash. One gets the feeling that mngmt does cut corners and skimps at customers expense. We were only customers in hotels admist a very busy season everywhere else.Pool is very cool and refreshing we did enjoy it, nice lounge chairs. Internet is free in small restaurant area.
