We were there for the weekend and we enjoyed every minute we were there. the pool, the food , the property was all too good. everything was kept neat and clean and well maintained. the staff was all very cooperative and freindly. we had our visit book to celebrate our friend's birthday - and took up the offer of celebrating at the hotel with birthday cake. this was a lil' disappointing as there was lack of communication between the reception and restaurant that we didnt get the cake as requested. however sikander from the restaurant did the best he could to compensate. we had to celebrate the birthday that night with small pieces of cake, however that didnt put an end to our enjoyment. i hardly felt like getting angry at any staff there as they were the best when it came to hospitality. they kept their calm. Our birthday was given before we left the hotel and we were offered late checkout. I could say if i was asked - are you likely to return? it could be a big "Yes"

Great Beach Hotel
I had to stay at the Mirfa Hotel in summer for business reasons and stayed for 3 weeks. A winter stay would have been much better but I enjoyed my stay nevertheless. There is ample free covered parking space and the reception was good. My room offered a panaromic sea view, was clean, spacious and nicely carpeted, with comfortable bed, a minibar and large TV with good choice of channels in both English and Arabic. Free wifi is available everywhere including the rooms and works well most of the time. The hotel is generally very clean and the environment is great for a quiet family holiday. When the ongoing improvement works around the hotel and on the beach are completed, the outdoor environment will be excellent.Food quality is generally good but if you stay for more than a few days with breakfast included, you will find the breakfast choice limited and very little change from day to day. The restaurant staff however, are among the most helpful and friendly that I have met in the many hotels that I have stayed. In particular, I want to highlight the Manager Mr Nitish. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed at times when the occupancy rate is high but he always keeps things under control and works as hard as other staff to keep guests happy. He is clearly an asset to the restaurant. On one holiday however, the restaurant literally overflowed with guests and some were clearly not happy to be kept waiting. This is no fault of the staff. They did their best under the circumstances and did a great job. Hotel management should be prepared for such occasions and provide more staff support in the restaurant. This aside, I must say I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The overall experience was very good and the staff clearly made a difference.

A relaxing stay.....Wud surely come back..
I had stayed for a night in Mirfa hotel as part of my business visit and I wish I cud stay more and have more of that luxury... It was a very good neat spacios hotel ...My room was beach view and It was so Wow.....Also the staff there wer very very friendly making it a very memorable one...Defntly wud reccommend.... :)

enjoyed staying at the Mirfa and would come again.
I am currently 4 weeks into a 6 week stay at the Mirfa Hotel. When i arrived at reception the check in went smoothly. I was greeted by friendly staff, who made me feel welcome. I was given a room and my luggage was taken to it.The room is on the west wing of the hotel and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Large and spacious it catered for all my needs. Double bed, flat screen wall mounted TV, desk for office work etc (free Wifi), fridge, tea & coffee, plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom is very nice, full size bath, walk in shower, hand basin with plenty of room for toiletries etc. The rooms are visited regularly by the house keeping staff who service them to a high standard. The food consists of a buffet breakfast, also cold meats, cheese, cereals, fresh fruit, juice, tea & coffee.Lunch can be ordered throughout the day from a varied menu.Dinner is also hot buffet style food which changes daily, there is also a menu to choose from. Children are also well catered for. A bar is provided selling a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks although rather expensive. The hotel building is a grand structure, but during my stay is undergoing some renovation work as is the grounds outside. The swimming pool is very nice and clean and always supervised. There is a small play area for children. The Mirfa Hotel is remotely situated and is very quiet and peaceful. Water sports can be booked and there is also a gym. During the evening there is not much entertainment to be had. Overall i have no complaints and would recommend the Mirfa Hotel, whether it"s for business or pleasure. The manager, Nitish is always available should you have any queries.

Friendly Staff
The staff are friendly and welcoming, but service is slow if hotel is busy.The bar is regularly unmanned in the afternoon, so don't rely on it for your business lunch.The pool and children's play area are popular and well used, but the beach is under construction, with the associated noise from the diggers.There is no facility for speciality coffee like cappucino etc, which in my view is a basic service for business meetings etc.The rooms are large comfortable and clean but some of the fit and finish could be improved, such as patio doors and shower cubicles.Food is good in both the restaurant and the bar with a nice range of tastes. Bar prices are expensive at ¿¿7 for a pint of stella or fosters.Overall, it's a good place to stay, in an area that is lacking in other facilities such as restaurants and night-time entertainment.
