Arc En Ciel Hotel and restaurant. best in Cholon
The most undiscovered hotel in Cholon for people of other countries. Staff speaks English and will cater to your every wish. Mr. Phung the director is the most gracious host you will ever meet. The eighth floor rooftop restaurant is where the American generals and ambassadors ate many years ago. The nighttime view is superb. If you prefer a more modern hotel Mr. Phung also oversees the Bat Dat Hotel across the street from the Arc En Ciel. One block away on tan da street is the Nhac Tre Tea Shop with tea up until 11PM with some of Cholons beautiful young ladies. The street food vendors at that corner is wonderful and the same food the girls eat so that is one way you know it is safe. The people of Cholon have not changed after fifty years still very friendly. I love them.

Not Really what looks in pics
we thought it will be around city centre but it was very far away from main town .. .food was not that great so was the room size and over all presentation. the taxi guy outside tried to rip us off .. and later we found that the area is not easily aproachable. overall slient compared to other parts of town but not for us.

Bad choice
The staff was very helpful but the facilities and rooms were old. I chose a non-smoking room but the smokers from next door had almost killed me because their cigarette smell came into my room even though the door was closed. Staff was helpful when I requested to change to another non-smoking floor and they found me a room immediately. I liked the location because it is away from the tourist. The security guard at the hotel lobby told me that a group of Chinese travellers were outside the hotel the night before and someone snatched a Chinese guy's bag. You have to be extremely careful with your valuable stuff in this city.
