Ok if you like trains and are not bothered by noise
My husband, my two girls (aged 5 and 2.5) and I stayed at Skyline Court in April 2013. We were in QLD to attend a wedding. We chose this accommodation based on its proximity to the wedding reception venue, Lightspace, which is a short walk away. We stayed in Apartment 23, a two-bedroom apartment for three nights. The apartment was spacious and adequately furnished. The apartment was basically cleaned, although we did find melted Easter eggs under the TV unit. The free, onsite basement parking was a plus.Unfortunately the apartment had a distinct smell of mould that hit you as soon as you entered. The other downside was the noise from the trains. Four train lines are directly behind this property, and trains come past every few minutes from around 5am until 11pm. I am a light sleeper and found the train noise difficult to block out, plus the noise of passing traffic and the sirens from the police station around the corner. The pool looked lovely but was absolutely freezing!Based on the noise factor we will not be staying here again.

Booked a 2 bed room for a 2 night stay, every staff member that we saw and spoke to were nothing but helpful and courteous. They were happy to answer any question asked. Located near numerous good restaurants and only a short walk to night clubs and several transport options this place has everything needed for a short, or long stay, will definitely consider strongly for our next visit.

Met our needs for 53 nights
Stayed here in a two bedroom apartment for 53 nights. Very impressed with this place and would highly recommend. Staff are excellent, very friendly and obliging. Yes there are plenty of trains going past, but it certainly didn't annoy us at all. Even at night. Did not keep us awake. This place is very close to The Royal Brisbane Hospital, RNA Showgrounds (across the road). Five minute walk to Fortitude Valley Train Station. Five minutes to the city via the trains. Excellent food outlets just down the road. Supermarket is just a two minute walk down the road. Highly recommend. Thanks guys for a very pleasant stay.

Noisy and thin walls
Stayed here for three nights and not relaxing at all. Could basically hear the conversations of our neighbours and they decided to go back and forth out of their room at 4am- doors are certainly not soft closing! Train comes past every ten mins or so as well. The room itself is fairly dingy and in need of a facelift and good clean. Bed was really bouncy, so not good if you're sharing with a partner. Parking facility is good and reception staff nice. Wouldn't stay here again

met all our needs
We chose this place based on its proximity to the showgrounds, and were really happy with what we got. The room was just what we needed. We got the two bedroom apartment that came with a kitchen and living room area with a very comfortable couch. There were two bathrooms, one for each room, as well as a laundry. I have seen some other reviews that weren't very good, so I think there must be a difference in the standards of the rooms. what we got was really good, and we have said we'll definitely return here in the future. Its also pretty close to a variety of restaurants which is pretty handy
