Brilliant!
We had been flying for 13 hours with a stopover of 5 hours on top from China and were really needing some comfort....had booked at the airport 12 hours before through agoda, we arrived at Melbourne international 23:30 in the eve, called the hotel from the free phone at the information point and they came to collect us very promptly which was so nice for us, checked in swiftly and was upgraded to a gorgeous room, so clean, massive bed, everything we could have wanted, was also given a free late check out till 11am. Very helpful staff, the shuttle service is excellent and they can't do enough for you. Well worth the money, so convenient. Would definitely stay here again, felt like we had got a lot more than we paid for which I have found rare in Australia! Great hotel!

Excellent Convention Centre
I attended this Motel & Convention Centre for recent medium size conference of Health & Safety professionals and stayed at the onsite accommodation.The accommodation was clean, cheerful and reasonably priced. It is not luxurious but good value for money. I stayed in that part of the Motel which was typically old style ground floor room with a car park out the front of it. The room was clean, sheets were crisp and good quality. A flatscreen TV provided and an adequate mini bar for snacks. Altogether satisfactory given the price.The only criticism that I have is that the walls between motel units seem to be plasterboard stud walls with minimum soundproofing. I was woken early by someone conversing loudly on the phone apparently right outside my door, only to discover to my surprise that the person was inside their unit next door to me. Otherwise however I slept well without disturbance. Breakfast and dining facilities are good and the staff do know how to make a very good coffee.I want to highly recommend the Convention Centre facilities, particularly for budget conscious organisers. The facililties are excellent with a good area for reception & registration, a very adequate area for trade displays and conference morning teas and lunch and of course a generous and pleasant conference area for main presentations. This conference area can very easily be split up into two rooms for concurrent sessions. This centre has everything that is needed to conduct a successful conference with adequate accomodation onsite.I particularly want to compliment the attitude and expertise of the management and staff. Nothing was too much trouble and staff numbers were more than adequate as well as pleasant and helpful. A minor but disturbing medical emergency which occurred during the conference was handled with great calmness & professionalism by Sigrid one of the staff there. This, in a room full of Health & Safety Professionals. I was impressed.This is a very good venue for a conference if immediate access to the Melbourne CBD is not necessary. It is a 20 minute trip into the CBD at a cost of about $60 in a taxi. It is however close to the airport and the Motel provides a reliable shuttle bus.I have give the venue an extra star because of the conference facilities and the professional attitude of the staff.

Nice refurbished rooms
Stayed here as we had an early flight to Cairns from Melbourne airport. We were offered the newly refurbished ground floor rooms which were excellent. Fridge, TV and MP3 player. Very nice efficient shower but towels a bit skimpy.Found the restaurant prices a bit too much for us as pensioners so settled for a takeaway fish and chip supper. There was a fish and chip shop not too far away run by very friendly chinese people. Had a good in room supper for just $13 for the four of us!However would recommend this hotel.

Convenient to airport, but basic motel
We recently stayed here overnight, as we had an early flight out of Melbourne. The motel is modest and the room we had was a little tired, but it was clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a large screen TV. The sound proofing between rooms is average and we could here muffled conversation from next door plus their TV. The bonus was the cheap parking, as we left our car there for a couple of nights for a fraction of the cost of the airport. The shuttle to and from the airport was fast and efficient. If you need a place for a quick airport stop over, then this is a good option, but is well away from the city and any of it's attractions.

Great location for a short stay
We read the reviews for this hotel, and we were not disappointed. The free shuttle was on time, and we had free Wifi in our room. The staff is excellent, and the room was fine as was the shower. We had read a review about a Tavern just down the street from the hotel, so we had dinner there. The place was packed, because of the great food, great prices, and service. There is also a small casino attached, for a little extra entertainment. We would recommend this Tavern for your meals, in place of the hotel restaurant, for a short stay.
