Perfect place for a relaxing break
We stayed in a Lagoon access room for 7 nights. There was really nothing that I could fault about the resort. All of the dining options were great and reasonably priced. Breakfast in particular was great value. Always plenty of sunbeds for all down by the beach. In the afternoons we tended to use the pool more with the added convenience of access straight to our room. It is a short taxi ride to Hua Hin with all of its dining options.The trip from Bangkok is easy. Will be back for sure.

Loved the swimming pool!
We originally booked a garden view room but after checking in (and seeing the 'garden view') we decided to pay for an upgrade to a pool view room on the ground floor with steps leading directly into the swimming pool. This is a definite must in our opinion as it was so nice to just step off the balcony into the pool. The pool is just fabulous and runs round the whole complex. The rooms are a little dated not what you would expect for even a good 4 star but they are very clean & functional. The bed was very large & very comfortable (firm but not too hard). We used the shuttle bus service provided by the hotel to get into Hua Hin, this was very convenient & cheap. 50 baht per person per single trip.We ate in the Italian restaurant & at the beachside bar. Both are fairly reasonably priced. The breakfast selection at the restaurant was good too. All the staff we came across were helpful & friendly. This hotel is great & we would thoroughly recommend it. Good value too.

Beautiful hotel, amazing breakfast........but not quite the perfect package!
My husband & I recently stayed here for 3 nights for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary on our first visit to the Hua Hin region. We choose this resort due to a fantastic stay that we had last year with the Sheraton brand in Krabi, Thailand.We stayed in a Garden View room in block 3. We paid around ¿¿90 per night which is quite expensive for Thailand. The resort on the whole is beautiful, located on the beach with the most magnificent swimming pool. The facilities of this hotel are excellent, with many choices of restaurants and bars, including the beach front bar which has great views down towards Hua Hin city. Between 3pm to 5pm they did 2 for 1 on cocktails which was great value for a 5 star resort at B250 each. The resort also had a fantastic gym, table tennis, and free wifi in the lobby and resort restaurants/ bars.The buffet breakfast was amazing, one of the best I have ever had at a hotel. The choices were endless. If you stay here it is highly recommended to get a deal including breakfast as apart from the resort there are hardly any other options or local dining places in which you can walk to. Every night we got the minibus to Hua Hin city (about 15 mins away by car) and the hotel charged B50 per person per way, which is fantastic value. We also booked the hotel shuttle back to Bangkok which was around B700 per person and took just over 2 hours. It drops you at the Westin Hotel Bangkok near Asok BST station.Our room was exceptionally clean, modern and well maintained. It was of a large size and had everything we could need. Complimentary bottled water was provided every day in the room. They also kindly gave us a cake to celebrate our anniversary which was a lovely personal touch.Although we had a wonderful stay at this resort there was something missing that makes this the perfect stay. One thing that I felt spoils this resort is the amount of weddings/ events/ corporate meetings that they hold. Now you may be reading this wondering how this really affected our stay....however when there are events at this resort they have to clear all the sunloungers from the beach front lawn to make way for lights, staging, tables, buffet, sound systems etc BUT this really does affect your stay as it dictates where you can sit and relax. Out of the 3 nights we stayed there was an Indian Wedding on the first night and also a Phillips Corporate Event on the last. I do think they when guests pay the premium to stay on a beachfront hotel then to exclude them from certain areas of the resort really is not correct. And for those who have never been to an Indian Wedding (as I hear these are a regular event at the Sheraton) it really is a massive staged event with extremely loud music and lights.Overall we did have a lovely stay at this resort and we enjoyed Hua Hin but to be honest we probably wouldn't rush back and if we did the Sheraton would not be my first choice. I would have preferred to have stayed somewhere within walking distance of local eateries. This resort was beautiful on the whole, with good staff but lacked a little personal service that I feel was lost in the corporate feel this resort gives off. I almost feel bad giving this resort 4 out of 5 but there is just something missing that prevents this resort from being the perfect package.

Great weekend place from Bangkok
Very nice swimming pool stretches around the hotel, and each room at the ground floor has access to the pool right from the room. Friendly staff, nice facilities, good for kids. Good place to go to from Bangkok for the weekend.

YES- it¿¿¿s a wonderful place to be...
It¿¿¿s our, my wife and my 5 year old daughter, 1st time in Sheraton Hua Hin. We stayed before in Thailand ones but my wife was, at that time, not to satisfied and didn¿¿¿t want to come back to this country. I changed her mind and now we are since 10 days here in this wonderful hotel. Why is it wonderful?-We are lucky with the weather; as per the weather forecast ¿¿¿ it should rain nearly every 2nd day but we are still waiting for some rain¿¿¿¿¿¿ (our advice ¿¿¿ don¿¿¿t look at the forecast!)-We booked a garden view but changed after a 4 days and booked the ¿¿¿direct access to pool¿¿¿room and it is like a ¿¿¿dream comes true¿¿¿¿¿¿waking up in the morning and having the pleasure to swim right away-WOW-They have the biggest swimming pool I ever experienced ¿¿¿ it¿¿¿s a lagoon style pool and you can swim around the entire property incl. small waterfall and cascades. ( the entire pool has a depth of 1.2m/4 feet -What I really like-there is the fauna (a lot of plans and flowers¿¿¿¿¿¿) -Thai food ¿¿¿ I think that now nearly everybody in the world knows the culinary side of this part of the world-Last but not least ¿¿¿ THAI people and the staff ¿¿¿ I travel a lot around the world and the sincere smile and hospitality is world know; we feel here that we are real welcomed and being treated that way. I wish other countries in the world would have a small slice of their hospitality -Now a little bit about the culinary offers: outstanding is the breakfast buffet (everything I can imagine on a buffet and tasty). Selection from European, Indian, Thai and Chinese. Another buffet I would recommend is the ¿¿¿International Saturday evening buffet¿¿¿. Again, food variances from the above stated countries¿¿¿hoops I forgot that they always have live music for breakfast and buffets ( at this stage they have a great Filipino band)-The hotel is around 15-20 min away from the city of Hua Hin ¿¿¿ you can go with the hotel schedule (leaves every hour on the hour and cost 50 Baht p.P ¿¿¿ca. 1.25 Euro) ¿¿¿ we always went back with the traditional Tuck Tuck --- a lot of fun and it cost 300 Baht.-I also had a change to meet the management of that property and their GM Martin Raich (Austrian nationality) ¿¿¿ after meeting them I even understand it better why this property is so well maintained and their staff so wonderful-really I mean it. As is say prior-we have been around the globe and stayed in great countries and properties but this one is for leisure a pure pleasure and highly recommendable for families- Nearly forgot the mention the Indian weeding _ prior I was reading a lot about the Indian weeding¿¿¿s in that property and we should be aware of it. To noisy etc¿¿¿ now from my side¿¿¿it was my first sight of such an wonderful event and we were very happy that we had a chance to see it and be a witness first hand¿¿¿¿¿¿ (will posted additional pictures when at home). Well, now I have to go back to the pool and enjoy my 4 days left¿¿¿money well spent on this vacation and looking forward to come back
