I travel to Traralgon 2 or 3 times a year. I always ask for one of the 'new' rooms -These were probably refreshed 8/9 yrs ago. On This trip I thought something had gone wrong as I was assigned one of the original rooms. Well the 'old rooms' have just been given a major revamp. 100% new Bathrooms, new carpet, beds, bedding, towels the lot. I was booked in a family room that has 2 x single beds then a seperate room with a large double bed all brand new. 2 x Flat screen TV's on the wall. The room was pre-heated so very warm and inviting.Nww Geoff and the staff have always been good and now they have the rooms to match their service. Honestly the rooms are so much better than motel rooms. The Restaurant?Bar has also been given the once over. It is warm and inviting with great food and service. Negatives- too far to walk to town and thats it. Given that it has all you could ever need not a biggy. Give it a go

Had a very good but short stay here while in the area for work. Many if not all of the rooms have been recently and tastfully renovated. The staff are all very helpful, the only very slight negative is the hotel has is located on the outer edge of town but on a positive boarders what looks a nice golf course. Will pack the clubs on my next trip. There is a gym located in room 8 which is not state of the art but enough to keep active.

I was booked in here for work and my initial thoughts were it is a dated 3 star motel. Once I was in my room I was pleasantly surprised. The bathroom has recently been upgraded and has one of those rainforest showers, the water temp fluctuated quite a lot but the shower was nice. The room was very clean. There was a function on when we were there and the restaurant service was very slow but the food was ok. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very good.The motel is not close to the centre of town.

My wife and I booked a room with 2 bedrooms for ourselves and my elderly parents. As we approached the facility we were quite impressed but while parking near the pool we looked around thinking "nice garden but the motel looked a bit dated from the car park". We could see a more modern two story section behind the older part of the motel and had hoped to be placed in this section. Well we ended up in room 19 which was in the older section. Once we opened the door we were simply amazed at the makeover of the room. It was modern and the makeover was certainly completed with the most supburb workmanship. It was roomy with the most comfortable beds, pillows and absolutely fresh clean linen. Our room was spotless. The bathroom was exceptionally clean with an amazing rainmaker shower. One room had the most comfortable queen bed and the other had two single beds. The rooms were bright and airy and both bedrooms had individual air conditioners and large flat screen TV's with a wide selection of cable channels. We did not dine here but the restaraunt looked very clean. My wife used the pool and she enjoyed it immensely. My parents were absolutely thrilled with the room and facilities. The motel room was fitted with a microwave, kettle, iron & toaster. A very basic mini bar which we did not use. The staff were very freindly. We''l be back and will certainly recommend it to friends and family.

I arrived late and was met by the receptionist who had stayed to meet me (first example of good service). Rooms have recently been refitted and it shows - excellent linen, good coverings on couches and chairs. Bathrooms are a bit datedm but clean and everything works.The breakfast in the morning is pretty decent - $14 for a full cooked breakfast is cheap compared to city prices. Room service menu is also varied and was actually better than the meal I had had in Melbourne the night before. Also, a three course room service meal for under $60 is pretty fantastic.I'd arranged to meet colleagues in the restaurant for a breakfast meeting and the staff arranged a quiet table in a corner and helped me get my laptop plugged in, so again, great service.The hotel is just off the highway. I did have a room in one of the newer blocks (1980's built, as opposed to 1960's built), but I couldn't hear any traffic noise
