My Wife and I had a romantic getaway here last week. The location and resort is outstanding and very much enjoyed the tranquility. We tried the restaurant out and the wife was happy to see a vegetarian menu. Unfortunately when she ordered the vegetarian quiche from the menu they returned to say they did not have any ? She the ordered the Dahl with Narn bread . This came with a bread roll?.When we asked for the narn bread again they did not have any but were very apologetic ? On arrival our room had a few minor issues like the fridge freezing up in which we lost some food and beverages, the safe and cd player did not work and the toilet was leaking. We called maintenance to get the safe fixed and toilet looked at. They replaced the safe and said they would be back to bolt the safe in and order a plumber for the toilet. That was the last we heard. We were quite happy to let these minor things go but the next day my wife and I were in the room and the housekeeping manager walked straight into our room without any warning which we found very disturbing. When she saw us she said "oh sorry I have come to inspect the room" After this I approached the front desk and explained the issues we were having. This was the first they had heard of any of our problems. I believe the communication between maintenance and front desk staff could have been more efficient. The front desk was very helpful and offered to move us to another room but given we had only 1 more night we did not want to have to repack. They fixed the fridge, bolted the safe but told us the toilet was a big job and had to be done when the room was vacant. We were refunded a night and was given a complimentary bottle of red with dinner that night. The restaurant also assisted in serving a meal appropriate for my wife. Apart from these issues we really enjoyed the surroundings and the tranquility that this resort has to offer. Although my wife had trouble with the restaurant food selection I thoroughly enjoyed the steak and the breakfast. The restaurant staff's service level and friendliness was outstanding. The beds are very comfortable and enjoyed the large bath. If asked would we stay again. Yes, as this resorts location and surroundings is one of a kind. Just check the rooms facilities before you unpack. D & C Toghill

myself and my patrner stayed here for 2 nights in a spa apartment with kitchen.the staff at the front desk were really nice we got to check in early.the villa/apartment was nice and spacious 2 large tvs 1 in front of the bed and 1 in a small lounge area .there was a clock with a iphone/ipod attachment which was handy.the bathroom was so nice the bath was amazing and also the shower you could turn the tv and watch fox tell from the bath.the head chef at the restaurant there is amazing the food is top class some of the best food ive eva tried at first i did feel it was a bit expensive but the quality of the food was far more then i expected we dined there both nights.the breakfast is amazing full hot buffet and everything else you could think of,even sparkling wine,and he view from outside while eating breakky was really nice.right near the beach which is also really petty but if your not a beach person the infinity pool is relaxing with day beds all around it.

the hotel is very nice especially for honeymooners, but a little inconvenient for the older generation who need to get the services of the buggie to go from the chalet to the resort lobby. there is a quite a steep slope to walk up if the buggie takes too long. With the discount of 50% given to Accor Advantage members, food at the Resort is really worth its while. The room is big and spacious but the bathroom is a little cold especially during the winter and it is difficult to enjoy the bathtub because it does not have any handles to hang on too. One could drown in the tub if one slips down. I would propose having a door to the shower room as it can get cold while taking a shower. Other than that the stay at the chalet which faces the pond, is just wonderful with beautiful scenic view and a private beach.

Apart from a minor hickup with our loyalty status on checkin, everything about our stay was perfect.The room had a lovely outlook of blue sky framed by greenery, managing to give you real privacy and a great view even though there were rooms all around.The pool was a highlight, spectacular views.Kids loved the giant jenga & chess located on the grounds just down from the pool.Each day at the beach we saw dolphins frollicking in the distance, and the walk up to the lighthouse was a perfect bit of nature watching that still suited two under 10's.Very relaxing.

Beautiful foyer and restaurant = recommend splashing out and eating there at least once! Beautiful villas - can be quite a hike to reception/restaurant/carpark depending on your spot but is lovely and feels secluded and relaxing. The room was beautiful = huge king bed, lots of space and enormous bathroom. The little toiletries etc could have been better - just those little touches! Breakfast = amazing - including champagne = was perfect being my birthday! The location is hit/miss depending on what you want!! Amazingly quiet = quick walk to the beach, nice drive around the peninsula. But it is out of town so no real chance to go to a local restaurant or do some exploratory walking = need to pay for a cab if you want to sample the bottles you've bought from Margaret River! Great base for Margaret River exploring - doesn't feel super busy and is quite luxurious - only half hour drive to get to the wineries. Would be beautiful anytime of year = great fireplace in the lounge for Winter! Definitely recommend for a unique getaway where you just want to bunker down (pun intended) and relax on site. Service was hit and miss - horrible girl checked us it but absolutely loveliest lady checked us out! Great restaurant staff too!!
