Enjoyable stay
Stayed at this resort for 3 nights. Staff were were very friendly and were able to assist with any queries I had.We stayed in a budget resort room which was ok but next time we will be staying in a villa as these have a kitchenette.Facilities were very good they have squash courts, mini golf,tennis courts, games room, 2 swimming pools 1 indoor and 1 outdoor,The outdoor pool was dirty due to ducks swimming and pooing in it, indoor pool very clean.The bay and bike path are right at your front door step.We really enjoyed our stay and have already booked our next visit.The only negative is I think mattresses need replacing very worn

Great for family stays
The resort has a lot to offer to entertain families with kids. They have mini golf, tennis courts (busy all the time), volleyball court, basketball court, squash court and some gym equipment, an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. And the playground (they now have a bouncing castle, not sure if it's permanent or seasonal for school holidays) and the cafe and lots of green space and ducks to feed and beach access! We booked for a long weekend during school holidays and paid a rate of $130 for a family of two + infant per night which I think is reasonable given the area and the timing and our short term booking (e.g. a week in advance). It was our second stay at the resort, and we were not disappointed.The villa was a bit worn out but looked okey, did not have any bathroom issues or bad smells etc. The indoor pool was a bit chilly but the ocean still warm during the day :)Please note that their kitchenette does not have a cook top, only a microwave and an electric frypan, and the cutlery is limited. We also did not like how sometimes the resort got petty - for those who booked squash courts and hired equipment they still required $2 for lights to operate! And their pool towels are available for a charge however fresh linen is available free from reception. The breakfast at Spinnakers cafe looked good but we never ended up paying $20 pp. Bought coffee in the morn but were not impressed. I think we may stay at the resort again.P.S. I strongly recommend that you pay a visit to Occy's Brewery around the corner, 737 Bussell Hwy, and enjoy their beers.

Very Disappointing
The restuarnt connected with the resort showed in brochures open between 6pm and 9pm or 6pm till late. At 8.35 we arrived for a meal, was not greeted until 10 mins later, then had to wait until staff member finished the phone call to be told at 8.54 it was closed. When asked about the advertised time a shrug of the shoulders. The room was clean but the shower head was faulty and blocked, plug for basn on top of the tissues on the window sill, (strange place), little freezer in fridge totally frozen over, TV reception almost non-exsistant, windows dont slide open properally, As this was our first motel stay as a couple we were disappointed with it and had to drive into Bussleton to get something to eat.

not staying there again
We paid 300$ per night for a garden villa, which was including an hour massage for 2 people.They booked the massages for the wrong day, which was the day we left at 12pm, so clearly no use to us. The shower had mould in it and the smell coming from the drains was simply discusting. It was a romance package with a spa, the spa could only fit one very small person. The floor hasn't been mopped since the last time it has been used. The radio wasn't working, the antenna was missing.We will not be staying there again, 300$ a night, what a joke.

Very good quality for the price
My husband and I were looking for a very inexpensive place to plop ourselves for 12 hours. I found the Bayview and we booked a simple hotel room, with a fridge. That's one of our requirements since we carry lots of cold things in our cooler in the car. The young man at reception, new to the job, was so nice. He offered to stay until we arrived even though they close reception at 7pm. He was true to his word and was there at 7:15. We were quite comfortable and slept very well. Also, we saw our first wagtail here.
